What you main doesn’t mean anything when it comes to takes so long as the take is non biased and accurate. He’s correct that the ability for locks to teleport so frequently is insane in the hands of good lock players but most lock players don’t use it correctly so they think it’s bad.

I agree with that one. Demo has to cast too much now. Destro definitely the best lock spec rn.

In addition but not limited to: better mobility than melee. spammable cc, and better defensives.
Some casters don’t have to cast. Warlock definitely still has to cast on all three specs to be effective. Also most melee have -insane- mobility. That’s a bad take.
Spammable CC is really the main thing that give casters the edge. Ret and sub have the best defensives in the game in terms of dps.
when i fight demo it doesnt seem to be forced to cast a ton
i think it’s just taxed by armor right now(and maybe giving up more than the other specs to take impish instincts?)-demo seems to shred other low armor targets with its stampede of physical damage. every time i’ve fought demo teams head to head with aff or destro on my team, my lock gets beat down without much of any enemy castbars required
Hand of Gul’dan, shadow bolt, call dread stalker, vile stalker, summon Tyrant are all casted. The only instant damage ability is demon bolt when it procs. Very little damage shard generator. Very low chance for instant dread stalker proc if you take that talent. Demo needs to cast a lot.
They removed instant hand of Gul’dan proc and made dreadstalker casted. Before they didn’t cast much at all.

hog and vilefiend are usable in shadow lockouts and demo has some of the best ranged instant cc to enable casting that’s actually required
50 of the top 50 locks do, so this is an iffy if

The ability is needed when melee have infinite mobility, unlucky bro.
You’re bad so you think so but it really isn’t. Proper port timing along with proper cc and cd rotations mean good locks don’t die ever and the talent makes it even more extreme.
Infinite mobility doesn’t mean anything to a lock who knows what they’re doing and create meaningful gaps.
