Warlock pets

Its nice getting adjustments for warlocks but pets need a serious rework.
Voidwalker - Can’t really tank anymore, low HP and takes to much damage.
Imp - GOD THE IMP…not immune to AoE damage like most pets, almost no HP and falls over any time something sneezes.
Felguard - Good for what its ment for, wish Destruction got it (Demo only right?)
Felhunter and Suc - When was the last time anyone summoned these?

Lastly why is the summon so got awfully long? What purpose does it serve these days?

Given how Felhunter is the only other pet with a spell interrupt, it’s likely the pet that most non-Demo Warlocks use the most. As for Succubus, that was always more of a PvP pet.

Due to the debuff Succubus applies to the target, and the fact that Lock pets are generally pretty normalised in DPS baseline, Succubus actually edges out the other pets in DPS more times than not. Meaning if you have no need of an interrupt, dispel, purge or tank, Succubus is usually the defacto DPS pet.

Maybe one day… It’ll get back its ability to perform the one job it was designed to do. Instead of whatever its trying to do now. I’m not a mage, I play a Warlock. I do NOT want to constantly play the stupidity of the Kite game.

How long are we going to go with this minion failing to do its one job? Huh? Why does it only do less than 1% of our damage as its damage? Its no wonder that even though its abilities are supposed to have threat that it doesn’t work.

Please, finally fix our Voidwalker, or just get about your obvious end goal and remove all tanking from pets and make us all play the stupidity of the kite game.

Yup, Blueberry use to be very tanky but almost no damage so in PvP it was pointless to use and just ignore. That balanced its PvE tanking abilities. However now it just feels horrible to try to use it, even Felguard tanks better than the actual tanking pet.
AND the Imp is even more frustrating with it taking AoE damage unlike all other pets, low HP and low damage.
I wouldn’t mind pets going back to specialized abilites and uses if they can actually do that role again.

Voidwalker is definitely complete garbage. I’d rather face tank or kite and have an interrupt than use a Voidwalker.

There is one extremely situational advantage to the Voidwalker, and that is its ability to taunt and snap aggro. I haven’t had to use it since early Shadowlands, but I used to solo things that weren’t typically soloable by using the Voidwalker, and instead of trying to heal the bloody thing, I’d just start resummoning it early, so that a new one would pop up and taunt the mob before the mob could reach me. I’d then quickly reposition, throw out some more damage, and resummon again.

Even did it as Demo. Felguard is good, but its lack of a taunt means it just cannot get snap aggro like VW can. Highly situational technique, though. Would be nice if the VW was properly more alround useful

i summon felhunter and suc all the time. they’re useful at what they do. felhunter for the interupt, suc when i need to get a humanoid to move to a specific spot, or pvp, where shes basically the best pet for destro

Complete agreement about the voidwalker, worthless blueberry. I can’t carry my wife in 8 mask horrific because he’s so useless, I outdamage any threat he puts out.

I recall this being pretty viable in bfa and sl, but not sure if this is reliable at the moment unfortunately.

VWs taunt seems to “not work” at times

Puppy almost always in M+ non-demo
Succy best single target raid non-demo
