I have a full health warlock pet, I mount up on my flying mount, go in the air and then return to the ground to despawn the pet.
After unmounting from my flying mount my warlock pet respawns with less than 100% health and mana. In the case of my felguard they have 71% health and 67% mana.
This happens every time, with no buffs other than self buffs on my character. I am not in combat when I land nor do I go in combat at any point. This was not happening before the patch on Tuesday.

This happens on warlocks and hunters. It’s been this way for a while, and your pet can die from it if you’re not careful.

Would like to throw in my support here. I summon my Felguard, hes full health, mount my flying mount, and dismount and he comes out at 50% health. This is not how this is supposed to work obviously, so would like to bump this as best as I can for the Demonology warlocks out there in TBC.

Hi, I’ve noticed the exact same thing except I’m not demonology. My pet is spawning w 60% hp and mana after I dismount from my flying mount, even though I healed it to full prior to mounting - extremely frustrating as my pet has died numerous times from this. I am hoping that Blizzard will address this issue on Tuesday’s scheduled maintenance.

Wanted to bump this, can someone please take a look at this. As a DEMO lock in TBC, this is incredibly frustrating when out in the open world. My Felguard (huge portion of my damage) requires constant healing after I mount and dismount, as he respawns with only 60% health. This was not how this worked before, and seems related to another bug that was addressed around flying mounts.
Please can a blue respond to this with any updates on whether this is on the radar?

snake? SNAKE?? SNAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE???!!!
This almost never happens. Even if a blue does respond, they don’t have any insight into what the development team is working on.
The first you can count on knowing that the bug is being addressed is when you notice in-game that it appears to have been fixed.
