I was wondering if anyone here knows of a good macro to combine pet follow and consume shadows? I keep searching around but all most of the macros I find for pets require you to use a script.
Also does anyone know of a good macro to keybind sacrifice?
Just open up a macro and shift click sacrifice from the spell book. Barring that just type /cast and whatever the specific name of the ability is… which I think is just sacrifice.
/cast Sacrifice
Consume shadows is a channeled spell so it cannot cast the spell and follow you at the same time.
Also, you can just make a macro for sacrifice and keybind it.
just change your keybinds. I have “attack” keybound as my Q button etc.

The main problem here is that I play other classes that don’t have pets. If I was to make a pet only keybind it would mess up the system I have for other characters.
I get half of what you are saying, but my intent is not to have a macro that will cast consume shadows while having the void walker fallow, but to make a two for one button that will have him follow me when in combat and consume shadows out of combat.
So far I have gotten the macro to work, the only issue is that I don’t have a way to make the voidwalker prioritise following outside of combat if his health is at full. I am not sure if this is possible to do without scripts but if anyone has a way to make him prioritize Follow > Consume shadows that would help me out a lot.
I see what you’re saying. Yeah it’s most likely a script you have to use instead of a macro in this case. Even a cast sequence wouldn’t help.
