Let me tell you some basic facts:
1、In the AWC quarterfinals held a few weeks ago, there were hundreds of games in Europe and North America. The number of appearances of Dest and Demon was 0 !!! and the affi was 4!!!
2、In the 3v3 arena on the North American server, there are 3 affis with scores over 2200. Yes, that’s right, only 3!!! The highest score is maldiva’s 2248. Yes, he is a R1 and AWC warlock.
3、 It’s absurd that at the same skill/gear level, melee specs like Ret，Arms, WW , Fury , DH… literally ANY melee you can name—their SINGLE-TARGET damage surpasses Affl’s THREE-TARGET damage. And Affi has ZERO healing reduction effects. The model is broken!!!
4、Arms and dh got some buff In the last update patch. BUT!!!There are at least 15 classes that are weaker than them!!!
5、The 4set effect of AFFI has even been weakened (2ua->1ua). Such a weak specialization with such a low appearance rate can be weakened.

I don’t know why the thread was deleted by the manager, so I had to rewrite it.I think I am discussing this rationally. This version of PVP is completely out of balance! Even after the AWC competition, when we know the appearance rates of different classes, the designers still cannot make appropriate changes.

I think warlock is fine, warriors and ele just need nerfs.
I think if it wasn’t incredibly easy to entirely negate the fear mechanic or have perma uptime on & shutting down locks, we’d see them doing a lot better.

ye i suggest you retire the class this expansion
you can get up to some rating, but then you have to be realistic that you wont be competitive beyond 2.1k or so (even when you manage to make it happen sometimes. the class is just not competitive)
death pact is on a 1 minute cd and i swear to god it frequently lasts less than 0.5 seconds on me when i press it
class is outdated and poorly designed and pruned into infinity over the years while everyone else keeps getting extra tools extra mobility extra defensives extra stuns
im looking into devestation or mage cuz they seem fun

Wrecking throw still one shots it after the nerf. One button negates warlock’s ability to stand and trade.
