Blizzard has announced in an upcoming Dragonflight build, the Warlock Interrupt will once again be cast by the Felhunter pet and not by the player.
This can be seen as a buff or nerf depending on how you personally use the ability. One one side, Warlocks will once again be able to interrupt while casting, but they will have to deal with a pet kick once again.
How do you feel about this change? Let us know in the comments below.
I was curious as to if axe toss was going to lose its interrupt on stun immune targets, but I guess I was focused on the wrong spell
What do y’all think about it going back to how it currently is?
It’s bad. So, it’s good from a PvP perspective, from a distance and very very high end perspective of micomanaging things, again at the very top end. How many players play at the very top end? The answer: barely 20 out of the many Warlock players, barely 20 of them play at the very top end where this is actually relevant. Why would you make a game change for these very few players compared to the massive amounts that it would serve better to have it not tied to the pet?
Again, numbers wise here for players, alone, this is a bad change. Warlocks being forced into the 1 single pet every single time they do content that requires an interrupt, be it PvP, Dungeons or raiding, it’s bad design, bad logic.
Hunters have roles for their pets, but all pets can be all roles or whatever. They also have multiple pets per role thing. Warlocks have 1 role, 1 pet that is used for 90-95% of the content. That’s seriously lame, and bad.
It should be a choice node to give players the ability to choose to interrupt, themselves, or to have the pet interrupt. If not, then give players the talent node from Torghast that makes their pets instant cast summon so they can instantly summon the Felhound, interrupt, then resummon something else. This would work out very well for the players, too, and kill the shard cost of summoning pets.
PvP-wise, they already had 2 interrupts. They had a PvP talent called “Spell Lock”, which was only usable IF their pet wasn’t Fel Hunter. It was an extra button to bind, but 2 interrupts. So Demo locks, in PvP at least, will remain with 2 interrupts unless the PvP talent isn’t going to be readded.
bro the very top end is like 100 players , wtf are you talking about? the top of a pyramid is a point, the base is where everyone is at not the top!
And pvp is much more important than killing npcs, like who cares who does more dmg in pve? as long as the dragon is dead and u get ur loot u should be happy.
Also EVERY LOCK that max had on agreed that losing pet kick was bad, so cya
Dude stop. You’re making me swoon by just how manly and tough you are. Call me trash again big daddy. Pretend I’m an pillar and LOS me harder. Tell me how you kicked that noob and restarted your key like a total gigachad alpha male
I thought they already had one that stunned. It is kind of like axe toss. Going to go out on a limb and guess that is doesn’t have the stun immune interrupt though since they already had/have an interrupt.
yea it;s funny because without pvp this game would 100% be dead.
What do you pver’s do after your done doing ur weekly raid? YOU GO PVP. wtf?
The dev’s have already stated that a majority of players do casual bgs.
Where in raiding there is 100 guilds who killed the last boss? like what? you think there is more raiders than pvpers? your delusional beyond hope, keep voting for biden kid
Oh, you editted your post and were talking about something else.
I meant that Hunters should lose their non-pet based interrupt, so they have to deal with the same time delay and pathing issues. Heck, why not roll Intimidation into their interrupt, give it a 30 second CD and make all hunters work like Demonology.
