For whatever reason you can snap shot imps power based on the warlocks buffs and procs and summon a new imp with maximum power. I don’t know how you make hunter pets dynamic but allow snap shotting on imps…
Please fix.
Is this really a thing? If so its probably only viable for demo locks with insta summon right?
I wonder if dual spec will dismiss your pet.
Pet scaling on warlocks is a lot worse than hunter pets anyway.
Things like this are in the game, they are just not reasonable to do in the long run.
So someone may do something like this in order to “let’s say” solo an elite they need. But they will not be sweaty enough to use it day to day.
In PvP, I don’t use an Imp, but I see Meta Locks using Imp allot. In my opinion, they would seem dense minded if they did everything to power up an Imp, just for the Imp to be insta dropped in combat. Are they going to run away every time in attempts to get a more powerful Imp?
I can be my current Demo spec, but change talents to be Destruction and as long as I don’t change or unsummon my pet, I will keep Soul Link. So the power of Destruction with the survivability of Demonology.
However, when I log or die, or fly or something, the bug goes away and I lose Soul Link.
This is awesome but do I do it? Nope! I’m not going back to my Warlock Trainer to do the trick every time I log or die for instance. It’s to cumbersome for a dopamine hit.
In PvE content tank warlocks imps can do as much dps as a 50% parsing warrior.
I vote we get rid of the Meta rune

This was hot fixed a week ago.
The Imp hot fix made me puke in my mouth a little . . .
So my demon is going to continue summoned, logged in, ressed, and exiting a flight path at less than half health because of some bug that Warlocks have wanted hot fixed?
Radio silence on that.
Here is a situation that happens every day. I Fel Domination summon a demon. Because of this health bug, I can’t Fel Domination an Imp or Succubus because, with less than half health summoned, they instantly die in PvP. I can only summon my other x2 pets who still die very fast unless I channel 1 or sometimes 2 FULL health funnels into them “which I can’t do in an active PvP fight”.
Can I get a hot fix on this so my Fel Domination isn’t half as useful?
