Dont think it is. Mine was hitting an add instead of my target today
I was doing mythics yesterday and the shivarra and pit lord love to attack a random mob I’m in combat with and not targeting and very rarely pull.
Fel lord does the same, sometimes spawning farther away than normal and pulling.
It feels similar to when wild imps were too wild to control and they would run across the room pulling anything in their path.
That’s what I noticed those things are under the same conditions as wild imps which I never saw a spell being coded in that way. It doesn’t make sense either for it to aggro mobs outside or the player’s targeting.
Actually none of the bugs currently in the TWW make any sense for warlocks. bugged talents, bugged hero trees they can’t seem to fix, bugged transmog for like several months now (this one is definitely a tell that the skill/exper behind their coders is starting to fail)
No way I’d think any programmer would let something out like that can be seen visually by random players, you don’t even need to go looking for it. They just can’t figure out what they did that jumbled the codes up to cause this. Because this wasn’t a thing in shadowlands.
They duplicated something somewhere and control cope / paste ruined someone’s day and forgot where it was done.
I really hope they fix the mythic plus bug pulling mobs from several groups away. I have to play carefully and behind groups to make sure that bug doesn’t duplicate and fail keys.
Still after reset hitting random targets nearby, i don’t think this hotfix is live.

iTS STILL USELESS… Vile fiend char hound take 4 seconds to attack, with 616 gear still hitting for less that 200k when it leaps, often misses if your fel guard is tanking the mob somewhere and then… wait for it, you run out of shards so all you can do is cast shadow bolt and lose another 6 seconds of dps… Demo is utter garbage and no fix will occur to make it do anything other than solo delve.
This sounds more like a you thing, to be honest. Demo isn’t a button mash Spec, especially now, so you have to manage your shards better.
If you’re mobs are running away, dragging your Felguard with them, use Curse of Exhaustion.
Vilefiend has always been slow (it’s one of the reasons most players stopped using it), I really think Blizz should shorten the cast time to make rotation feel smoother.
