Warlock Healer Subclass Concept

Hey guys!

Me and a friend were sitting down one day to see if we could come up with ideas for a new subclass for each class, just to see how unique we could make things. I decided to try my hand at something a bit different and make a Warlock Subclass that fits into the Healer role.

Since I made everything into tables to sort it out, I can’t copy/paste everything onto this post, but I’ll include a link to the Google Doc that has all the information on it: New abilities, talent choices, legendary item concepts, and covenant ability additions.

I’m not good at balancing with numbers in terms of scaling the Spell Powers, Cooldowns, Mana Costs and such. Everything there is essentially a placeholder to just get the idea of each ability and concept across, so I hope you don’t take too heavily to the balancing itself.

I really like the thought process of this and would love to see it actually happen. I’m all for that every class should be able to heal, tank or dps and this concept is actually really cool! I think some of the talents like Soul Famine could be a good passive effect rather than a talent. I really like the concept for Soul Conduit and think it should be how Soul Conduit should be for all specs in retail to make it more competative. I give it a 4.5 out 5 stars.

Glad you enjoyed it! You’re right, some of these talents could be put into the main kit and vice versa, I’ll remember it if I ever decide to make another concept in the future for another class. Thanks for the review, appreciate it!

Check out the Chloromancer class in “Rift”. it’s damage heals the players around the target in a wide area. It also has other healing spells.

The warlock class there was a true drain class. They nerfed it significantly, but its still fun to play.
