Felguard Soul Strike bug, toggle for auto cast is off, and pet is casting the ability on CD not on demand, any1 else got this bug, not convinient to use it on my own

I am having this same behavior. Oddly, if Auto-Cast is not toggled, the first Soul Strike has to be casted manually, but every Soul Strike after is auto casted, despite auto-cast being off. I have tried logging out, changing specs, changing talents so Soul Strike isn’t available. Nothing has seemed to work
Same problem.
Checked book and action bar to make sure auto-cast is toggled off, sent pet in, used Soul Strike normally, and then it’s treated as if auto-cast has been toggled on for the remainder of the combat.
It will reset when combat is dropped, but the moment you use Soul Strike again it starts behaving as if auto-cast has been toggled back on.
This had better be a bug and not a feature.
I want to be able to control when I generate shards outside of random Soul Conduit procs.
