I was wondering if the quest line was available for the warlock epic mount? I know DM isn’t available to finish the final part but can we get it all done besides that last one?

I don’t believe any of it was put in before dire maul. There wouldn’t have been a point. The best you can do is round up all the materials and wait. Get them before they spike due to every other warlock suddenly wanting them for the quest chain.

My only problem with this is that I will be tempted to just buy the epic wolf mount instead of waiting for the warlock one to come out.

Also Drain is a warlock name so you gotta switch classes, ty!

If you do though, you’re going to end up paying for an epic twice, because they decided to go with 90% mount cost ratio, even though it wasn’t like that for 1.12. This makes me glad I went with mage.

It’s my name, so I’m putting it on the class I intend to raid main as. I use it everywhere, but since I have no popularity, no one really tried to take it off me.

Well this was the right thing to do because 90% of vanilla was expensive mounts cheap riding, the switch over to expensive riding cheap mounts was in preparation for BC.

Nobody has answered the question.

Can you START the quest chain yet, or is it entirely unavailable until phase 2?

I’m not lvl 60 on my lock yet, but I do know that An Imp’s Request isn’t available at all. I see no reason why the dreadsteed quest would be.

If that’s true, then it should have also been true for raiding. Yet with this, they went with full on nerfed 1.12 difficulty. You got to pick a side and stick with it, not try to ride the fence.

You’ll want an epic mount regardless to pvp on.

Lock class mounts are on the shadow school and a bright, literally flaming sign pointing out to warriors in group pvp who to charge first. Neither of those things is good for a warlock…

Nope, what you can’t start right now:
Epic mount quest.
Level 50 quest.
What you can finish:
Infernal quest
What you can start:
Doomguard quest

Hope this clarifies things

P.S. I bought my swift white mechanostrider yesterday. Phase 2 is months and months away.
