Here’s a simple request (comparatively speaking) so that we’re not all running around with the exact same demons.
Demons can’t be named by their masters, and their names are generated randomly from a prefix and a suffix. That’s all well and fine for giving some variety to the names.
My thought is, every type of demon that a Warlock can acquire already has different skins available in the game; color variations, so to speak. I would like to see Blizzard add color to the “random” generation of demons. It sucks that every Warlock gets the same gray imp, blue voidwalker, pink succubus, red felhunter, and red felguard. We see dozens of colors available in the game as enemies using the same models.
That would also make it seem more like you’re getting an entirely new demon each time you pay to summon a new one, instead of just a name change… And I can’t see this being a major coding endeavor, especially when the art assets are already in the live game. It would be great to have some variety to the base demons without having to resort to glyphs that will probably get changed/removed in the next expansion anyway.
