So I just completed the Warlock Class Quest for Zila Amanemodas. It was a pretty difficult boss to down and for the effort, the reward wasn’t very great because it’s only available through the Metamorphosis rune being active. So where is the love for Dps Locks? Where is our wings? Why not give us a different variation of them? Like the incubus styled wings with a green or reddish colored? For the effort to down the boss we should both have access to a set of wings of our own too. Not just tanks.
It was more of a thematic way to fix the issue of not being able to mount up or fly while in defense stance for Warlocks. Additionally, the form rewarded from the quest is the original tank form that was given to warlocks in Mists of Pandaria. (But now with even bigger wings) The dps lock’s special reward I would argue is the staff from BWL since it serves little use to the tank warlocks aside from descent stats.
This quest is awful… as a tank lock who always uses Meta we cant even do the quest because it requires dps gear and affliction spec.
