Warlock choice

In wanting to roll a warlock alt but can’t decide on being a human or gnome. Any opinions on what to make?

Iirc gnomes have extra intellect, but if you are into xmog and such, I’d say go human.

Not sure how gnome is even considered by anyone. Mechagnome has the highest dps but they look absolutely stupid.

Gnomes are fun.

But the height disparity between you and your demon can be distracting at times.

Short races arent the best for warlocks in my experience.

They scale the demons down for the smaller races, which I always found disappointing.

Gnome demonology lock is awesome, having an army of imp that are your height following you around. Pooping out random imps even when you’re not in battle.

You should be able to be carried by your felguard as a mount, but cannot

Gnomes are fun.

Demon size scales with level, not race.

If they do ive never noticed.

I even have made a point of having my demon stand on top of someone elses to compare size and it was the same.

Demons do grow taller with level though so at low level, short races have demons that work well. So its nice for then at least

I’m almost certain my infernal was smaller on my gnome. May not be all the demons though.

Gross. Undead or Orc are the only real options.

If I were to play a Gnome, I would play a Mechagnome. Their racials are just more fun.

I just jumped on to a male level 60 trial gnome demonology warlock.
With the felgaurd, the top of the gnomes head reaches the bottom of the demons crotch.

And the imp gang boss is the same height as the gnome (for comparison on my void elf warlock, i hardly notice when they even spawn)

Didnt try any others though

Go gnome for sure.

Always female human.

I could be wrong, its been a few years. The only one I remember is the infernal because that was when you had it as a full time summon and not a CD.

The only real issue I have with mechagnome is the transmogs. Also I know the normal thing to choose as a cloth armor type is tailoring and enchanting. But how is engineering for warlocks

With the right character name you could have been a boss!! I had an undead warlock when I first rolled her and am still playing her but moved her to Alliance, changing her race to Void Elf. Kept the name though: Friedbones

I got a lot of mileage and laughter out of that undead Friedbones toon, so if you work it right you could have a very interesting setup.

BTW I kept the name on my old realm just in case.

Ah. I see you are using the archaic form of this word. We say “diaper gnome” now.
