I was thinking about doing tailoring and enchanting for the bandages, transmoqs, and gear enchantments. With my Dh I did engineering for the portal toys and I almost want to do that again cause flying thru orabos to get to the other zone sucks but that’s the only thing useful in engineering. Is there anything else I other professions that’s useful for warlocks.
Herbalism and alchemy.
Personally my Warlock loves brewing up deadly toxins or weakening potions.
Roll a female Warlock and she’ll become full blown Witch.
I’m mining/JC since my legendary is a ring. Whatever the next iteration of advancing the legendary is, i want a way to make it myself without paying exorbitant amounts of gold.
Love the name of your warlock, it made me laugh cause I can picture a confused Imp being hurled into combat right as he’s summoned. lol
Not sure if I felt any synergy between warlocks and any profession in particular, but Engineering has been very very useful this expansion just because of the wormhole. Very tedious traveling from one island to the other without it since u have to go to Oribos every time. Also alchemy has always been a steady earner if you work on it, but has been a great gold saver since flasks last 2 hours & can make your own consumables.
Tailoring. So you can make those soul bags. You know you want too.
Mine is a tailor and engineer. I like being a mini mage with my wormholes
Alchemist - 2 hour flasks.
Engineer - Wormholes, gliders and a couple of other perks like rocket boots (biggest draw of Engi is battleres, but you don’t need it as a lock)
Other professions are nothing but money makers or savers. Which isn’t terrible, but I doubt it’s the reason you made the thread.
Mine’s a tailor/herbs. I like a gathering profession to speed levelling. Already had an alchemist.
Yeah it kind of depends on if I want to PVP or PVE whatever I focused on PVP I usually went engineer
regardless of the class if I was going more PVE I would probably go Tailor an enchanting
Mine is tailoring and enchanting, mainly because that’s what she’s been since ye olde vanilla and I see reason to redo professions. I have a lot of things I’d lose and probably never be able to get back were I to switch.
Generally for PvE nothing beats Engineering + Alchemy. Engineering easily eclipses other professions by the amount of QoL things it can provide: Brez, Wormhole, Rocket belt, Glider, etc. Alchemy is a great money save that can double your flask, so it’ll effectively halve the cost of your flasks.
The other professions will probably offer more money making opportunities depending on your realm’s economy, etc. but don’t match up as well in actual play.
No idea what professions are good in PvP. Good luck.
Because my Warlock is more of an Alt, he is an Enchanter / Tailor. And for pretty specific reasons.
I consider my Druid my main, and he is an Enchanter/Alchemist. My other Alts are Enchanters/Engineers for the portal device and other benefits.
My Warlock is the only Clothie I regularly get to Max level with every Expansion. And it’s nice to have at least 1 Tailor to churn out Hexweave bags, so it may as well be my Warlock.
However, if my Warlock was my Main, or my only Max level Character, he would be an Enchanter / Alchemist.
