I genuinely think if it was re-released today that it could potentially overtake WoW…more than enough lore/playable factions and a huge potential world map.

Not sure it would overtake WoW. But it definitely feels like Warhammer is much more popular today than it was back in the 2000’s.
Wasn’t the WoW killer back then… but this time, maybe?

Warhammer? Meh.
Warhammer 40k? Now you have my attention. I got a yearning for good space fantasy ever since wildstar died.
A PvP centric MMORPG is dead in the water. It’s why I’m extremely skeptical of Ashes no matter how pretty it looks.
That would be a fun conversation to discuss which concepts that Warhammer MMO should go with. 
I still believe a Vermintide theme is popular for fantasy. 
I’d say there more than enough pve content they could implement
