Warglaives of Azzinoth Xmog

From what I understand is, once you loot the Warglaives set, you can then do Timewalking Black Temple to unlock the appearance for Demon Hunters.

My problem is, I just looted both MH and OH on a Priest while trying to get the Tier Set to Xmog. At the time of looting it, the Achievement popped up. However, I cannot find it now.

Can I still Xmog it, or do they need to be on a character who can equip it?..

You need to kill Illidan in Timewalking Black Temple now.

Thanks, I wasn’t aware of that?. . . .

Yeah great. You asked what to do next and that’s what you have to do in order to transmog it.

Kill Illidan on the character with the glaives

Not quite what I asked. Did you even read my post?

Yeah I’m talking about this. I’m explaining why you can’t find it. You have to kill Illidan after from my knowledge, assuming you haven’t since you’ve said nothing saying you have, I assume you got the Feat of Strength for the Warglaives. Therefore the answer to your problem about why you can’t find them is because you need to get the Illidan kill.

So, to your knowledge.

Even though the Warglaives were looted on a character who cannot equip them. I can still do the Black Temple Timewalking to unlock the appearance for my DH?

That is all I am asking.

This is my understanding. Check with Blizz to confirm before doing the TW BT.

How would one do that? I have no idea, which is why I tried the forums…

You have to be able to equip them both at the same time in order to get the achievement. I’m not sure which achievement you saw, but the Warglaives achievement isn’t showing up on your armory. It will be under Feats of Strength > Raids.

Yes. The character you got the Feat of Strength on needs to complete the Raid. Then you can transmog them. As I said in the literal first post.

The achievment popup I got, from the quick skim of it said something along the lines of
“Acquiring the Warglaives of Azzenoth”
or something. It popped up as soon as it was looted above my toolbar but then I couldn’t find it.

Which led me on the goosehunt

You are ignoring the main question, this whole time. That being - Them being looted on a character who cannot equip them. That is the question -.-

In order to get the appearance from illidan on your demon hunter. You must have the Feat of Strength for the original set (doesnt have to be done by your demon hunter). Then you take your demon hunter the timewalking BT. Im not seeing the Feat on your account either, so it most likely wont work.

Well, that stinks.

I wasn’t even trying to farm those glaives. I wonder how long it will take to get them if I did try -.-

I literally just answered the question in the quote.

THE CHARACTER YOU GOT THE FEAT OF STRENGTH ON

If you saw an achievement it may have been a guild achievement. I have both Warglaives sitting in this character’s bank (can’t equip them obviously because I’m a Warlock) so I am cursed with not having the proper achievement, yet whenever I join a guild on this character that does not have the Warglaives achievement, they get it.

Until you get them on a character that can equip both, and actually equip them you won’t be able to get the DH transmog from what I can tell.

Just checked my guild achievements, and. That is EXACTLY what popped up. Mystery solved.

Thank you.

This is a guild achievement. My hunter has Sulfuras and my private guild gets credit even though she cannot equip it.

To get the feat of strength you must loot both main hand and offhand on a class that can equip both. Only then will you see the correct achievement pop up.
