I have both of them on my Mage (at least in the bank) Does that let me transmog them on my DH?
It’s been awhile since I did mine, but I remember having to complete the BT Timewalking raid on this toon to unlock it
So the mage was able to equip them and get the achievement right?
If so ANY character has to compete the BT Timewalking and your DH will be able to transmog
To give my specific situation my warrior had the glances, my priest did BT Timewalking and now my Dh can mog them
No mages can’t equip them, however gear that can’t be equip still let us learn the transmog. I was wondering if these are exempt from the new system.
You need to be able to equip them in order to get the achievement in order to run the timewalking raid to unlock the transmog.
So you’ll have to re-acquire them on someone who can dual wield 1h swords: rogue, warrior, DH.
Dang…I got the first one way back in tBC (no one needed it so we all rolled for it) and I farmed the second one. I don’t want to farm them again lol
I just unlocked the transmog for running it when I had the glaives on my rogue.
Yeah other said the issue is my Mage can’t equip them, even though they are in my bags they seem to be exempt from the new transmog system.
This is correct. They were the first legendary which was made transmogable through an achievement, before others were opened up later on. So, you will need to complete the two achievements in series to unlock them still, and you are only rewarded the glaive model, not the sword one, therefore the appearance is DH only.
Yeah the warglaives follow their own set, I’m afraid you’ll have to farm them again on another class that can equip them
It’s not the transmog system that’s the issue in this particular instance. It’s that you need the achievement for equipping both warglaives in order to get the DH transmog unlocked through the timewalking raid.
