Warglaives of Azzinoth & Timewalking question

Hi guys,

After playing since MoP I finally got my full set of Warglaives of Azzinoth on one of my characters today, on a character I have only had for a month or two! I have looked into it but can’t figure out how I do the Timewalking part so I can unlock the transmog for Demon Hunters.
When is the next BC Timewalking Event?
How do you get into these for raids? I have seen queues in the Dungeon Finder for Timewalking dungeons but never for raids.
Any advice would be appreciated as I’ve never done these before!

Next BC TW is October 20th.
Event NPC is in the Shattrath hub.
Will need to queue up into a custom LFG or create your own. NPC will port you in.

Once you have both warglaives on any character that can use them (rogue, warrior, dk, monk, or dh), then you run Time Walking Black Temple with a raid group (super easy to find) on any character you want. Next Burning Crusade TW event is scheduled on 10/20.

Good luck. TW BT took me a few attempts. The fights are a lot easier now than they were when BT was current (less health, less damage, etc), but the mechanics will still cause wipes if the group doesn’t know the mechanics moderately well. I’d suggest finding old guides to the bosses and at least learning the very basic mechanics before wandering in.

I’m wonder how it will go with the level squish. We’ll be level 50 come Oct 20th. Well if Blizz ever releases the prepatch that is. :rofl:

I’m sure you’ve already done this but make sure you actually equip both of them in order to get the achieve/feat of strength before you do the raid.

Edit: sorry tbc you dont need to use them in the raid, just equip them both and then take them off (or leave them on, whatever you want)

I already had both warglaives on 3 rogues. I tried to complete the raid tanking with a guild group, but it was really long and people were tired, so we ended up not killing Illidan. And since the entire raid respawns (or it was back then), we never completed it. Later I tanked it with a twinking group to unlock the mog on my demon hunter.

I’m sure you’re really glad you have this marked on your calendar for today. Apparently they just said “screw it” and cancelled it. It was on the calendar as of like 3 days ago. It’s just cancelled and moved to December. I’m so f-ing pissed. I’ve been rep grinding and literally saving these BC reps for this timewalking. What the hell is the point of a calendar and posting things in advanced and then cancelling them the day of.
