Yeah the old version of the item is a sword. Its now considered a Warglaive by Blizzard though. And since its their game its their decision.

Nope. You’re just arguing semantics. Again, the rest is just marketing re MoP, WoD etc. You were never promised that you could mog legos when you first got the glaives. You getting your hopes up is on you. The Lego mogging is a new thing. It’s natural that a DH iconic weapon goes more to a DH than other classes. Be thankful you can still equip them. They should change that to glaive type tbh. Otherwise maybe arms warriors should get Ashbringer. Makes about as much sense.
I don’t have the Warglaives. I don’t care about them. I play a paladin that cannot even use them.

This is complete BS dude i farmed those warglaives for so long i love them one of my fav weapon models and i was so excited to finally use them and now blizz just takes a big dump on us and tells us to f off

They should just make it so all appropriate classes can use them after getting this achievement.

You special snowflakes have access to any weapon a rogue can use plus your very own weapon type plus you’re the only class that is allowed to mog your legion artifacts from your off spec.
Considering this was made into a FoS specifically for DHs did you really think blizz would just let anyone 'mog them now? I didn’t. This is no surprise to me at all that they made the warglaives an exception.
Legion killed off SmF. Back in WoD you could still use 1h as fury
They were a warrior and rogue weapon long before Demon Hunter’s were even a thing. Monks too, I suppose.
If they absolutely insist on keeping them a “reward” for Demon Hunter’s, give them a HD remake, so they have something unique, while allowing the other classes access to something they can equip and earned years before Demon Hunter’s arrived.
Garbage threads like this are why I wish they’d not made any of the Legendary weaps mog-able. Too many people whining about it (especially on my RP server). If you don’t agree with it, then ignore the person/don’t do it.
Demon Hunters/Rogues/Warriors should have been the only classes capable of equipping Warglaives. Monks would have no reason to use them, likewise with Death Knights. But I guess at some point, everyone will be able to use everything and then people will complain that they aren’t special anymore. Becoming the agents of your own demise in that regard.
