no other class in the game has a weapon only they can use and also I envy you, which makes me jealous, which means I want what you got which causes me pain because I CAN’T get it
To give night elves such a cool warfront set, and to have a PERFECT tri-blade glaive thing, but not let anyone but DH use them, is a travesty.
Give us a “sword” version of the tri-blade glaive thing so other classes can mog it and then I won’t mind about the rest of the proper warglaives.
Your entitlement is not pain. You could see people with the MT appearances you do not have, and it does not affect you in any way by them having it
Support.
I was so looking forward to mogging them on my death knight with void edge, winter’s might or the preorder enchant.
Yeah, I guess that’s fair.
let’s not forget here that the Mage Tower appearances were not,
I repeat were not, DH exclusive
every single class could get them
I don’t envy them because it was a limited time item, I envy them because they got a transmog all to themselves
Rogues are the only ones that can use the legendary daggers…
It still doesn’t affect you in any ways others have something you can’t have. That is not pain. That is your entitlement.
I think the attempts at keeping things like classes or appearances locked behind RP logic is silly when the game has basically devolved into a lobby based game with lots of mini games attached to it.
Rogue exclusive weapons from the get-go, the Warglaives were not and when they said they were allowing legendaries to be transmogified in 8.3 I was overjoyed because I wanted to transmog the Warglaives
they could’ve done the same thing with Thunderfury and made it only for warriors to transmog, but why didn’t they? it was a warrior tanking weapon first and foremost
Like you said, it makes no sense that DHs get the glaives that were iconic to the non DH races (those of the Warfront). Blizz had to make these glaives as Swords because this is an example of game mechanic being dumb to lore when it can be switched easily.
I can’t imagine how Rogues that got these blades felt when it was stripped from them, though.
Those glaives were swords at first, but now that glaives are a weapon it makes perfect sense that they are mogged as glaives. You can still use the warglaives themselves if you want, but can’t mog them.
and i think i want some compensation for doing black temple timewalking day one release staying inside that place for 5 hours just to get the transmog.
Release the azzinoth for the rest? fine, but i want to be compensated for giving my exclusive reward with something cool else.
the reason wow has been and is successful is because of its story and RP elements. the game is very much still an mmo for many of us no matter what you think it has become just because you log in, queue for something and log out.
furthermore you are all still ignoring the animation issue
- 1 for moggable glaives.
Glaives in general should also just be made available to any class who can equip illidan’s weapons. They are the quintessential and iconic warglaives, if wars, DK’s, monks and rogues can equip them then why cant they use other glaives.?
As for the achv that enabled mogging the glaives in legion becoming obsolete. Give DH players who have the achv a special HD version of the glaives, or different glaive colors.
I think rogues, and warriors should be able to transmog the Warglaives of Azzinoth.
Warglaives need to be expanded in general to other classes cuz it’ll mean more glaives made for the loot table.
I agree.
Seems like its just a way to influence people to level a demon hunter.
I argue that it’s just a weird restriction, the warglaives were used by warriors and rogues way before dh’s existed as a playable class. So the people who did get it back in the day can only use the mog on their dh alts and people who go back for their dh transmog?
I personally don’t see why other classes would be able to equip Azzinoth but at the same time we do see throughout the game different guards etc equip weapons that look like warglaives.
Either way I’d like them to be a moggable appearance.
In for a penny, in for a pound.
I prefer the RP, slower-paced version of WoW. But thats not what we have.
I already have this unlocked but only my demon hunter can use the transmog and not my rogue who earned them in TBC.
