Warglaive of Azzinoth Won't "Collect"

I managed to get Illidan to cough up the MH warglaive but it didn’t add to the collection. I know that druids can’t equip them but that hasn’t been an issue with other equipment. Even convinced KJ to hand over the bow and it added just fine despite the fact that druids can’t equip bows. Honestly just thinking about a bear with a bow is hilarious to me.

Using All the Things addon and the tooltip states, “This may require a Force Refresh (SHIFT click) to properly be collected” but even that doesn’t work. Not really sure what else to do. It’s hardly a big deal in the grand scheme of things but being able to resolve my confusion on why this situation seems specific to this particular item would be nice.

This is because Blizzard made some stupid rule where after you get the wargliaves, you still don’t have the appearance until you also run Black Temple when TBC is on Timewalking.

I greatly appreciate the response. I never would have guessed that and yeah, that does seem a really odd rule to apply to what I assume to be both of the warglaives when everything else I have come across from vanilla through Legion content has “collected” just fine. Into the bank it goes then. Thank you again.

Once you collected them, did you do the followup quest to unlock them for appearance? There is a guide on WoWHead. You might be able to get it done today, even without TW.
