Warfront?

I'm horde, obviously.

I logged on yesterday to see how long I had left for the warfront, and it showed 22 hours as the full bar, not as a countdown. I log back on today, unable to que for the warfront and it shows me the Alliance contribution?

Am I missing something, or do I just not understand warfronts? They're usually a week long, and why in the hell do I see alliance contributions?
it ended about 30 minutes ago.

and it lasted exactly 7 24 hour days.
Agh damn just missed it then.. but why can I see alliance contributions? The bar must have been bugged yesterday.
I guess it's just supposed to help you keep track of how the alliance is coming along and how long you have until they begin their attack.

Just trying to give you the timers for each phase I suppose.
Should be back Horde side shortly before Thanksgiving [US].
It's a different time than reset day. You are either collecting supplies or killing npcs for missions and rare elites. While other faction is doing the opposite.
Here's a quick breakdown of how they work. We'll start where you are as phase 1.

Phase 1: Horde has the zone.
  • You have quests and rares in Arathi Highlands (and a portal to take you there). You also have the world boss to kill. Rares and world boss are reset for you right now, but will not reset again until you get back to this phase.

Alliance players will be contributing to unlock the scenario. Both factions will see Alliances's contribution efforts on their warboard.
    .
    .
  • Phase 2: Alliance has the scenario.
  • Once contributions reach 100%, Alliance have 7 days to run the Warfront scenario. You still have access to Arathi Highlands but remember, rares and world boss are not reset if you already did them in phase 1.

Both factions will see Alliance's 7 day timer counting down on their warboard.
    .
    .
  • Phase 3: Alliance has the zone.
  • You can now contribute warfront donations. If for some reason you didn't do the rares in the other two phases, you can still fly there and kill them. But Alliance now has the world boss and quests as they have the zone.

Both factions will see Horde's contribution efforts on their warboard.
    .
    .
  • Phase 4: Horde has the scenario.
  • Your donations have reached 100% and you now have 7 days to run the scenario. This is your last chance to kill rares in Arathi Highlands before they reset for the Horde, once this timer is up.

Both factions will see Horde's 7 day timer counting down on their warboard.

You snooze, you lose. The Horde warfront was up for several days, and you missed out.

So this is totally up to faction donations? I cant remember the last time horde had this. We are at 72% now. Is it correct that the horde will not have control until 100% of the donations are met? I play 1 ally toon and 1 horde toon. Neither can do anything there right now. This seems like a very dumb way to do things to me.
