Warfront: Redridge Rp-wpvp event

During Lestats GM meeting the following plan was announced

“The time to strike is now, unity among the horde cannot be done, if we need it to win this war then Baine and Saurfang have ensured our defeat… The majority of the alliance is celebrating Raka’s defeat, or is stationed in Boralus, and leaves Elwynn vulnerable. In order to press onto these lands we must secure an old Blackrock Clan fort, atop the Redridge mountain to order attacks from. If we can cause a distraction with skirmishes to Elwynn forest from here then we can sneak in and kill the Alliance officers. I wish you luck if you came to negotiate unification of the horde, because once you can finally enact a plan of attack all hell would’ve broken loose by the alliance and your so called “friends” will have turned traitor.”

  • Dragrosh Doombringer, 4/26/2019, Silvermoon City, Hall of Blood.

The time to strike is now brothers and sisters, we, the Soulshatter Clan, invite all that are willing to end this war and push on forward to come attack with us. We shall claim Redridge and use this as a HQ to kill any alliance that get in our way, and draw enough out to eliminate their leaders.

How this will work is that we will head down to the chosen location and rp for about half an hour to an hour then head down and perform some skirmishes here and there. Until we get a large group of 10-15 then the main strike begins.

This event will work like the Grizzly Hills event of old, I will have as many of my members that will agree to it, log on and off here or spend as much time as possible to keep a lively feeling. Note we would like some other alliance rp guilds to join into this to coordinate this, even if it means moving the date.

Which brings me to the next point, I wanna have this extend as far as people are willing to take it, weeks, months, just to have a nice rp-pvp hub like we did 2 summers ago (I believe at least).

This event will take place this Friday, May 3rd at 7 PM server, and may be moved.

I was hoping to make it to Shadowforge this week, but guess I shall extend my stay in redridge mountains to defend the pitiful residents from your tyranny, Dragrosh!

My mole machine needs repairs

Honored Council,

The call to arms was answered as our detachment of Vale Guard assisted our allies in defending the citizens of Lakeshire. Our bonds with the Alliance remain strong and Lakeshire still stands. For the Vale! For the Alliance!

Andu-falah-dor!

((Thanks for having us, we had agreat time!))

Benedikt looked over the unfamiliar town of Lakeshire with disdain. Stormwindian architecture was mediocrity made manifest. Say what you will of the Orcs and their obsession with spikes but at least it was distinct. Who in their right mind would die for this indistinguishable hamlet?

The irony of that question as it applied to the force marching toward this dull backwater was not lost on him. Truthfully though Benedikt did not know nor care to know the reasoning of those who decided this was a good a place as any to die violently. It was his duty as a healer to ensure no servant of the Horde fell and his weal as Prime Governor to have a menace drawing Alliance eyes away from Elywyn’s southern border. For now, at least.

I sent word to Stormwind and, on advice, to even further realms; to The Ashen Vale, to a mercenary company, Coldridge, to the Lionguard, to any and all that would heed the call to protect those who call Lakeshire home. I stayed the week in Lakeshire, giving hope and sharing courage to the townspeople.

I knew the strike was imminent, even as I received word that help was on the way, and as I stood in front of the Lakeshire Town Hall, they began to wander in.

Never had my heart so swelled with joy!

The relief flew through the town as they arrived, each and every one, old soldiers, steadfast friends, and hardened defenders of the realm.

And as timely an arrival as I have never seen in my years of service as the warlock’s yell rained down upon the town all the way from Stonewatch Keep. The Horde called us to flee. One even called out that they would let us walk out peacefully, the townspeople first, yielding the town to them.

There was no question in our minds that we would not yield that town!

The Horde had the audacity to saunter down to the town, as their rogues clambered onto the rooftops up above us. They continued to call out to us, and we replied in kind.

The patience of my comrades reminded me of my old commander, how she would let the Klaxxi or the Mogu bear down on us and then let them break upon our staunchest defenders. Our healers never flinched as the deadly dance commenced, the blood pulsing in our veins as shouted commands echoed over the din of war. We pushed forward testing their will, and then fell back past the Inn letting them come to us our blades and spells a constant reminder the Horde would pay dearly in their attempt to take Lakeshire this eve.

As the battle raged on, there came a point where we routed them and they fled from the town, their wounded limping away. As the healers checked on the wounded we quickly spoke and looked to the Keep, upon the Hills to the East and determined that we should pursue and push them back from the lands surrounding Lakeshire.

Our scouts told of a slightly larger force waiting for us, but we were determined and had a few more stalwart friends answer the call. We moved out to the hills, fierce and determined, bolstered by our earlier victory.

They had more in the Keep, but we had trust in each other, and we called to them to depart the Redridge lands! But they stood firm, and the battle began in the blink of an eye. These old veterans that I stood beside were steady and unerring, gripping their leader and one other into our midst and it was short work from there. The old adage, cut-off the head and the body will fall was never truer.

They have hastened from the Keep back to the Burning Steppes, but even as Lakeshire sent their regulars to re-enforce the keep, I saw the Warlock had been given form again, and I know we have but slowed their advance upon Alliance lands.
