Warcrates are Beyond Unfair, and need to be removed or a Tenacity Buff Implemented

As the title states, the WarCrates that spawn in zone every 10 to 15 minutes is beyond Overpowered for the Alliance. Everyone knows that Alliance get the crate 99.99% of the time outside of the super rare chance the horde are just at the spawn location and can loot it before alliance shows up. That’s honestly their only chance.

The WarCrate loot is FAR, FAR too valuable to be given without effort to One Faction and One Faction alone.

These crates give 60 Conquest (now uncapped), 50 Bloody Tokens, 150 Honor AND valuable extra loot like Vicious Gems, etc. every 10-15 Minutes.

You can honestly farm a full PvP set with nothing but the crates in just a day or so sitting in zone and waiting for the warcrate Emote and Tabing back into the game to collect the points.

I have 8 Horde 80’s and 1 Alliance 80, a Holy Paladin so I can keep my Horde Paladin Ret. And I’ve received about 2 crates this ENTIRE EXPANSION on my horde characters while I’ve received COUNTLESS Crates enough for a near full set without stepping into rated PvP at all with my Alliance Paladin

There are serious, serious problems with this.

The solution is simple, remove the Warcrate so you don’t reward one faction over the other, or make the WarCrate give off a Tenacity Buff for the outnumbered faction so they at least have a semi-fighting chance (but probobly still lose).

These WarCrates are seriously Unfair.

Random statistics without backing data are just hyperbole.

In reality could be a server-specific problem (horde/alliance is imbalanced and sharding-for-faction-balance is disabled or not working) or it could be an actual problem, but without data, it’s a single opinion. Maybe if thousands shared the same opinion this could get the notice of the devs, but without that backing “opinion” data, you are a rain-drop in the tempest-storm.

Could group up and fight them for it.

As someone who remembers what it was like for Alliance in Warmode when it was first implemented, I’m really struggling for sympathy and just keep falling short.

Play Warmode… its painfully obvious. Doesn’t matter the Battlegroup, in warmode the Horde are alawys outnumbered.

You obviously don’t play warmode or go for crates, or you wouldn’t be saying this… lol

What, like… PvP in the PvP mode? That’s crazy talk.

I have the same lack of Sympathy as a primarily Alliance player, but if thousands of forum-goers (apparently Horde-only) flock to this thread to add their voice the OP’s then maybe it’s a real problem (that the devs should try to address with better sharding balance).

I’ve used the group finder to group up and have gotten warcrates because of it. It’s not that difficult.

Also like, we can’t just force Horde players to flag up and fight for it.
It’s not our fault they’re only “brave” enough to venture out of Dornogal in War Mode between the hours of 4am and 7am.

The issue is, the Aliance don’t have to do the same thing. It takes 10-15 GROUPed Horde (which I’ve never seen btw), to fight the alliance for a single crate and they’d still probobly lose since in Warmode the Alliance vastly outnumber the Horde.

Inspect my profile for the guy I posted here. You’ll see I’m FULLY PvP geared from just a day camping in a zone for the crates that spawn. I did nothing else but a few random BG’s while I waited. Zero rated PvP and I’m fully conquest geared in a day and a half.

I CAN’T do this same thing as Horde, there is no way.

Can we just be real about this for a second? Is it fair to reward one faction of the other in such a huge degree? Come on… be serious…

As a fellow Alliance player, I see nothing wrong with this system. Move along meow!

Yeah well, that sucks for sure, I’m not arguing that. But horde have a massive advantage in terms of raiding. Should blizzard make changes to raiding in a poorly concieved attempt at factional fairness?

I’d rather have to exert a miniscule amount of effort to get crates by way of finding a group rather than the crates just be removed from the game entirely. If anything, I wish there were more than just the crates in the warmode versions of the zones. I’d like actual zone wide objectives to fight over.

Also, you’re putting the cart before the horse. Alliance has a pvp advantage because their racials are better. It used to be EMFT. Now it’s the universal stealth on Nelves. If the issue is alliance domination of PvP get blizzard to reign in OP racials or at least give Horde races something that can compete with a stealth button.

When I came back to tww I was a horde player and couldn’t buy a crate nor a win in anything…almost ,100% loss rate. Inrerolled this guy and was fully geared in a week. Actually less than a week. This post is extremely accurate. I since have finished a few other alliance toons and none of them have been in any rated pvp whatsoever and one of them is nearly full and the other two each have full honor and and a couple bloody pieces. Just farming the free conquest. It’s ridiculously one sided and it is a severe problem. They should really just do away with them.

What does this have to do with the Warcrates in Warmode? I’m sorry, does Blizzard give away from PvE gear for just being Horde? I was unaware that in non Warmode PvE zones, that crates drop from the sky filled with max item level gear for just the Horde… LMAO!

When I’m playing Alliance I go for the crates.

Playing Horde, just forget about 'em lmao.

Horde just don’t bee-line for crates like Alliance do, and if they do, they’ll be overwhelmingly outnumbered and thus have to give it up anyway.

If you’re Horde, there’s no point because it’s never balanced in your favor.

Grouping as Horde is the only way- Alliance don’t even have to group for these.

Exactly… Anyone paying attention knows this is a problem and a very big one.

Alliance get better racials for PvP as well as a huge gearind advantage… I guess the only solution for the players is to pay blizzard even MORE money so we can all transfer alliance and collect free loot after. That will fixe the “Balance” right? LOL

Willful ignorance won’t win you any arguments. The gulf in difficulty in raiding seriously on alliance compared to the horde is comparable to the crate situation even if it isn’t a 1:1 comparison.

You clearly have no idea how long some alliance guilds struggle to fill out raid rosters compared to how easy Horde raiders have it.

Horde on several realms do not have issues obtaining War Crates, which brings me to believe you are on a faction imbalanced server.

How do you propose to to implement a Tenacity buff? When it was done before the induced a player cap on the zone and anyone extra beyond the cap of whatever faction was higher got the boot. This would create an issue for players trying to level, complete achievements, as well as do dungeons/raids considering War Crates drop in every zone.

There are solutions to your issue if you are specifically farming War Crates, premade groups farming crates. Personally have not had issues winning War Crates on either faction, especially when partaking in premade groups.

Again, PvP Warcrates HAS ZERO TO DO with PvE raiding. Zero… Yes, I’m sure there are imbalances about PvE, but if you don’t like it, make your own forum post about it.

This is about WARMODE WARCRATES and the imbalance of gearing… Not Raiding… Thanks Bye.

Nah, I’m on multiple battle groups… Alliance dominate the warmode population on each one…

Your failure to address the points I’m making is amusing, but trying to shoo me away just makes you look like a child.

Again, it isn’t hard to get crates on the horde at all. All you have to do is group up for it. I don’t buy into the narrative that its impossible to get crates hordeside. It isn’t, I get them just fine. All you have to do is group up. It takes two minutes to find a group.

I’m not in favor of removing the main incentive to World PvP just because you think its completely unreasonable for Horde players to have to GROUP UP in an MMO to succeed at something.

Stamping your feet and screaching like a baby about how i’m bringing up a similar issue related to another aspect of the game is not a replacement for actually arguing your point. Maybe when you’ve matured a bit you’ll realize that.
