Yeah, with the content I watch, I would have thought I’d get one, if they existed. I just haven’t seen one in years, so it seemed like this one was new.

Oh, I see what you’re saying now. Yeah, that one has been on since Undermine launched, but I rarely see WoW ads myself, so I get where you’re coming from.

They’ve done youtube ads before. The last time I got any was back in BFA during Season 2 though, when they were advertising Nazjatar and Mechagon.

Private servers that steal from Blizzard spend more on ads. RMT sites do, too.

Seeing TWW ads on WoW Reddit.
Seems like either a waste of money, or they’re fishing for folks talking about WoW that aren’t currently subbed.
I regularly see a specific one that starts with an “A” that lets you build your own classes, every time I open my email.
No real interest in trying it out, Retail is home etc., but it’s still interesting.
Definitely targeted ads, lol.
It’s really sad.
Just google “WoW Boost” and see what’s avaliable.
It’s kinda why I’ve just given up on Raiding and stuff myself- carries are too prevalent now.

I have Premium so I don’t even remember the last time I saw an ad on Youtube lol.
Yeah, it’s really rare that I see any ads for WoW, not even private servers. Come to think of it, I never see any for that microtransactions turn-based mobile game any more.
But, I have started seeing official WoW ads, which gives me the impression that Blizzard feels like they have a game worth marketing, again.
The one that prompted this topic mainly featured the DRIVE car, but was somehow about Delves. lol

I refuse to watch youtube ads after having the bee movie as an ad once and it was unskippable. It was the whole movie! Just no…

It’s funny because I see more ads for private WoW servers on youtube than I’ve ever seen for official WoW on youtube.

I’ve been seeing WoW YT Ads for ages.
For awhile they were advertising WoW as some kind of “cozy” life sim, with Fishing and stuff, which is completely insane and misleading.
Then there’s just been a metric buttload of “YOU CAN DO STUFF IN LESS TIME THAN IT TAKES TO MAKE COFFEE, YOU DON’T EVEN HAVE TO PLAY WITH OTHER PEOPLE, COME PLAY IN 10 MINUTE CHUNKS BY YOURSELF AND GET LOOT” because Delves are the new thing, and it just makes me sad, because god dammit this is an MMO.\
Been seeing more normal ads lately thankfully. Even those are pretty clearly games journalist reviews judging the game entirely based on about an hour and a half of questing through the TWW campaign’s intro though, which, while actually decent, is also not at all representative of what the game actually is.

I know they exist, but i been paying for YouTube premium for years now that i know i wont see them.
i can’t pay for youtube premium because i do not have control of my own bank account anymore. so all my payments come from gift cards and the gift card company freezes the card if i sub to youtube for some reason.
