Warcraft: Sylvanas spoilers

azeroth is like the most important planet, with the light, void and burning legion all after it

Azeroth does have multiple moons, so maybe she is just attempting to reinforce that fact by making it a plurality when referencing moonlight.

All of the Zereths are linked, so Zovaal using the Sepulcher would’ve caused him to remake the universe almost instantaneously. All of the cosmic forces except Death would’ve stopped existing.

My theory involving the Light is that “the enemy of all” is actually the seventh force and they’re working with it to survive, the bargain being that if the Light rats out the others then it gets to remain.

Zovaal already made Sargeras afraid of the Void Lords so orchestrating Argus’s demise and Sargeras’s capture would make him desperate enough to stop the Void Lords by stabbing Azeroth.

As for how Zovaal came up with the plan: The Loom of Fates is in Torghast so he could have seen the prophecies of what was to come.

The First Ones themselves foreseen our coming to Zereth Mortis. Everything was leading to this moment.

The Void Lords, the Light and Zovaal all had visions when they let the Song of the Pattern flow into their head with their study of the Rings of the Loom of Fate and interpreted it in their own manner.

The Void Lords interpreted the Rings to mean A Thousand Possibilities(until the Nathrezim came in to suggest Infinite Possibilities) while the Light interpreted it to mean One True Path and Zovaal interpreted it to mean that he had to direct the Legion, Light and Void to get the path he wanted.

Firim saw a horrifying shape in the Pattern’s Song just like the Void Lords, Naaru and Zovaal and his interpretation is that the Pattern may be destined to collapse by intention by the First Ones.

Yeah, if it were something as broad as “The shadow of Sargeras shall fall over Azeroth”… yeah, okay, great. A lot of suspension of disbelief has to happen even to arrive at that, but to specifically predict Sargeras will stab Azeroth and leave his sword behind? Nah, not buying it. If Zovaal can predict the future to that level of clarity, no one would have stopped him in Zereth Mortis.

Unless that Primus = the Real Jailer theory is spot on, and he witnessed untold realities thanks to his time traveler connection. . . right? Right? (please)

Or the First Ones are using Prophecies to manipulate all 6 Cosmic Forces to their own ends…

Have you planned to read the whole book tonight or will you be saving some of it for later?

i allready said…i´m so glad to not buy this cringefest, i expect the worse of the worst, and it was delivered. Golden can´t write without the right editors, her greatest hits - the first hordebooks - im pretty sure that this was almost all metzens work as editor.

So effecting one Zereth effects the others? Makes sense.

What do you mean “rats out the others”? Is your theory that the Light is working with this seventh force so it’s spared? While it’s not a bad theory (if the Void is correct about all this and not lying - other forces like Death and Void itself are also strong candidates for “enemy of all”), it raises further questions.

You’re the only one I can trust in this thread for info. What exactly is being said about Nathanos?

Please tell me this is some sort of metaphor.

I could not sleep so I did read most of it last night and I still have to work today I will finish it tonight after work.

I trust Ren to be correct with this info. She said the same thing about Sylvanas watching Halduron and Lor’themar as the reddit person did.

I wish I was over reacting about Nathanos but I’m not. As a fan of his character would I say something unflattering if it were not true?

That’s part of why I believe you, these are characters you like so I don’t think you have a reason to lie about what’s in this book. You’re not a NEFPA.

Putriss and Varimathras did actually betray Sylvanas. They tried to use the blight against Sylvanas in the Undercity but she was saved by a Loyalist who slipped her some kind of potion that turned her skin to stone.

She did not want to abandon her city or her people to Varimathras and Putriss, during the Battle for Undercity.

She just wanted to use the Blight on Arthas not the Horde and Alliance at the Wrathgate.

I’m on 269 now, I have less than a quarter of the book left. Page 273 Gilneas is finally mentioned, but breifly. She was not given a choice in Gilneas, only to obey Garrosh and since her kingdom was weak after Putriss and Varimathras’ betrayal she had no choice. She had to earn her place back in the Horde.

He’s also mad skilled, she barely has to teach him anything. He’s at the same level as Lorthemar when she finds him. He rescues them from a troll attack.
