Yeah, and they will make more like it.
Sadly yes because they’ll say it was “haters” because it has x y or z and not poor story or the fact it’s looks like a fantasy Steven universe.
They never seem to learn. People don’t like being preached at while being entertained.

The issue isn’t the horrid representation that they made. It was that the show was garbage. Rep doesn’t matter as long as the show is good, has clever and concise writing and fits.
On the bright side for that show it’s so bad that people are watching it BECAUSE It is bad. It ascended into garbage that is so garbage it is entertaining because of how bad it is.
No one in their right mind is going anywhere near Blizzard to do new business right now.
Yikes. That’s like saying people developed a taste for dumpster juice.

It happens.
Take Big Rigs Over The Road Racing, it was critically acclaimed to be the worst rated video game ever. This actually boosted it’s sales and popularity by tenfold when if it wasn’t the worst rated video game it would’ve just been lost to the void forever.
It’s an interesting phenomenon where if something is bad enough it actually gains from that in a way.
i just found clash of clans, a mobil game i would never play, has a nice animated serie https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cOqKQ-8X-Yo
Truly terrifying
Too bad all the money just goes into shareholder pockets
I liked it and the anime is my absolute favorite anime of all time.
Avatar TLA is American and puts many anime to shame. Also, Toei does some weird animation most episodes.
An animated series of WoW would be amazing. Could be able to give characters more depth and cool moments that in WoW they can’t for whatever reason.
They could also fix the crappy story that is Shadowlands. Then maybe That’ll redeem Shadowlands for me. At least it’s Lore.
By Metzen’s Beard, No.
Please, Blizzard, I’m begging you. DO NOT ruin this IP more than you already have.
As much as I hate to say this: Blizzard is too far behind now. They lost touch with their fanbase years ago (yes, we have cell phones), and with recent events, both in and out of the game, a lot of former fans outright shun Blizzard now. If Blizzard tried to jump feet first into a series or another movie, it’d be a really bad look. Not only because they would look desperate to stay relevant, but they have LOTS of in-house and game maintenance to complete.
I’m not so sure. It would depend on when in the Warcraft story they begin, and what they change, or add, for the sake of that story.
For example, racism comes into play often in Warcraft. If the theme of the show is to overcome racism, viewing audiences may like it, but an unfortunate section of current WoW players would lose their minds over this. Actually, these same ‘fans’ may be equally incensed if the show ignored opportunities for racial tension and animosity.
Also, if this show were to go to any high end streaming service, changes to main cast and co-star human characters in the show may be problematic for ‘some’ WoW players. Why humans, specifically? Well, to put this nicely: main story humans in WoW have maintained a strong…let’s say “monochromatic appearance and heterosexual identity” over the years
According to Blizzard themselves, this was accidental (an argument for finding coders / artists / writers of different ethnicities notwithstanding), but if they did a show where they changed any main story human to be a person of color or non-heterosexual, you know this game’s player community, and how they would react.
Sometimes, shows mitigate “diversity resistance” by giving a main (white) character a black, Latina or Asian girlfriend…but ‘suddenly adding a non-canon woman’ may be equally divisive with this community. Creating a man of color to date / wed a main story female isn’t done nearly as much these days, lest one have the same issue Cheerios had a few years back I need not mention how LGBTQ+ threads are treated on these forums; you can imagine well enough if Anduin or Shaw actually DID flip the script and got boyfriends.
I really want Blizzard to do something as well, but they’d have to navigate an entire beach of landmines comprised of their own writing, gaming and real life issues to do it. Their best bet is to lay low for now, and go slow and steady. They have to earn back a lot of trust.
