It’s just so sad that if blizzard wasn’t some greedy corporation trying to make as much money as possible and cared more about simply making a good game rumble would be so much better.
I currently own Warcraft Rumble, and it is actually objectively a fun game. It feels like a modern take to the RTS genre with tons of WoW Easter eggs.
The crazy part you’ll have so much fun when you start the game and the further you’ll get it will suddenly stop being about strategy but you just getting stat checked… so your solution is to go grind random mini xp quest( only way to upgrade mini for free is playing an older map for a little xp for specific 2 minis… so it waste time if you keep getting questing for mini you’re not using) or just spend money to buy gold to force upgrade the mini.
But regardless my point is if this was just a box game for $30-$40 on every system they could repair their tarnished brand but they don’t care… it’s so sad seeing riot games be greedy in league oflegends but also release fair non greedy products like Nunu or The Ruined king
Meanwhile blizzard releasing warcraft rumble and Diablo immortal… even in their stand alone products like diablo 4 was released with micro tranaction nonsense
Isn’t the game f2p when it launches? If you have access right now it’d be due to early release outside the US or something, but there shouldn’t be a cost attached to the base game at least.
Crazy thing is i actually can win a lot of the pvp right now cause I’m probably fighting other free players but when the game is public the whales will whale
Sadly this kind of business model will be less and less common in the future. Corporations have to keep that fantasy of infinite growth alive for as long as possible.
Hello, I see you replied to the thread. More and more are moving to mobile because the bubble of “live service” is starting to die! Hearing more and more live service games either losing support or not even making it to market, haha! Everyone tried to make the next Fortnite or Destiny but just couldn’t pull it off!
