Support tells me they can’t restore items… so what now…
I keep getting responses saying I should “Submit Bug”… But that’s what I actually did and that’s how the ticket got opened…
They say the issue has been resolved but I’m still missing a toy and have a duplicated one
I’m getting frustrated, the tickets keep sending us here but… nothing is happening. I know the people who respond to tickets say they can’t help. Can ANYTHING be done so we’re not unfairly left out due to something that isn’t our fault?
Ive gotten 2 varying responses from the same ticket ID so far. First was to submit a bug request but I really didn’t like how it seemed as though I was at a dead end and to wait for a fix when I know I’ve had items restored before.
I tried to explain my situation further and into detail hoping that would help and I got a new GM replying to my ticket who said the prize box was looted. Yes, correct… some were looted, but the first one was accidentally deleted because it didnt work and I didn’t loot anything from it. I’ve submitted screenshots and everything of not being able to interact with the machine per the ‘foil fix’, and screenshots of my missing criteria from the achievement, etc.
I just replied and explained my situation again hoping that a different GM on my ticket might understand differently.
I am really hoping for the same outcome as Dextructive to get my prize box restored.

Same situation. Have foils, missing coin. Need Ghoul to finish. Was given duplicate murlocs, and deleted one. No response as of yet.
For me the situation is different. I’ve tried to find similar stories but no luck so far. Well before the quests were sent out in our mail boxes, the foils and coins were already placed in the inn. And interactible. Just like with any other red button I was like… oh what is this. I picked up the coin first, used it in the slot machine because that made sense right? And I actually got a green box. Then I noticed the foil near the bed. I picked that up too and also used it. Half an hour laterr the quest became available. And that’s where things went south for me. I have upgraded all the toys but one. Because I’m missing that one foil. The GM handling my ticket told me it was fixed. The machines would now give the missing coins and foils. But unfortunately not for me. I guess my situation is a little different because I had the foil, just used it prematurely. Anyway, I put in a bug report because I’ve been told they can’t help me. And needless to say I’m highly frustrated.
This is similar to what happened to me. Day 1 when this came out I found the coin before knowing what it was all for and then accepted the quest. Got the prize box, couldn’t open said prize box (due to a day 1 bug) and thought okay, I will just delete it, abandon quest and do it all again… Nope. They said they fixed it and now the machine recognizes if you should have a foil or prize box you’re missing. But it only counts if you looted said prize box which I did not. I did loot the coin… so maybe they should enable the machine to give the coin if you previously looted it but shows you never actually used it… This is super frustrating. I have had two tickets going and no help. I am over it.
I was not able to get the prize box restored. I’ve been talking back and forth between 3 GMs / Cust Service on my ticked ID, and today I received note that they couldn’t grant me a coin because it would break the game, and the ‘deleted’ box on my character is not showing up. On their end it appears as if I looted the item. So I am at a loss. I was told to submit bug reports which I have already done. I guess I am sitting tight for a fix… when (or if) that comes.
As per my post above, after sending in a ticket to customer support I was told to place it in bug forum. Yet still no solving of this issue yet.

After writing 2 more tickets, because of absolut no solution and total desperation I found a GM that send me the Toy and granted me the achievement. So i could upgrade it and finish the achievments and the promo event finally. Hope that helps some of you
Apparently, not all GMs are the same because I got told they couldn’t do that. -_-
Same here. I was told that bring gifted a coin to collect the missing toy, or being gifted the toy would have “broken the game”. Still sitting tight and being wishful that there will be a fix.
I got the same answer at first too, that they cannot restore stuff and that they cannot grant achievements. I don’t understand that policy anyway as it’s wasting our and their time to say no first and then finally yes after several tickets.
I submitted yet another ticket today with a more firm attitude. I also checked all my toons to be sure (again). Have 2 foils need 1 coin. Given duplicate Murlocs, deleted one. Need Ghoul to finish achievement.
After submitting yet another ticket, I was told they are working on it. They are aware of this. Let’s cross fingers it will be addressed soon, and not forgotten.
Been dealing with the same, missing coin two foils I was told after 5 tickets that there is no issue and it hasn’t been reported to them.
