Are we doing just looks or behaviors/society too? Because I don’t think there are a lot of comparisons to be made with behavior and society. WoW just isn’t that kind of game.

Dark Elves (my favorite Warhammer race!) for example are cruel, sadistic slavers who revel in torture and blood sacrifice. Their most popular holiday is Death Night, where hags roam the streets murdering anyone they can and pulling people out of their houses to sacrifice on altars to their god Khaine, who is literally the god of cruelty and murder.

Unless I missed some of the Nightborne’s story…

That said, based on looks that’s a pretty good list. I’d probably stick Draenei into Beastmen too, just maybe ones that Slaanesh had a little fun with.

I think the Nightbourne are far more High Elf than they are Dark Elf. More-so than the Night Elves. Their entire civilization revolves around magic and a font of power.

This is also true for Nelf and Belf to an extent, but when you think of their army the NB rely heavily on Magic whereas Nelf and Belf are a little more gritty, which is where the Wood Elf comes into play.

get the flamer…

Honestly think WH40k is easier to attribute to Warcraft races. At least you could say Lightforged Spacegoats would be Custodes etc.

Where’s my Slaanesh cult?

i have the heavy flamer

Warcraft (back in the 90’s) was originally imagined as a Warhammer spinoff.

was gonna be, but lawsuit hit em i think, an they called it orcs vs humans.

Skaven (rat-men) are my favorite race in Warhammer and I’d love it if they were in this game but they are a little more unique to the warhammer-verse and hence probably a lot harder to copy without it looking like a straight ripoff.

Still gonna build me that Skaven army someday. When I can color 3D print most likely, cause I suck at painting and suck even harder at spending ridiculous amounts of money just to have no one to play the damned game with.
