Warcraft Cosmos

ONE THING gents and ladies that we do not speak enough on is Ideas for world of warcraft 2. We’ve seen AI cinematics that show would it could be… And it can be done. It’s time Blizzard, World of Warcraft 2 is a must for the survival of our game. However, in order for it to truly be successful it would have to be VERY similar to classic vanilla.

  1. Leveling is a must
  2. Talent Trees is a must
  3. Class Trainers are a must
  4. Huge worlds with lots of walking are a must
  5. Long mazes of dungeons are a must (no tunnel dungeons)
  6. Reimagined classes/races and abilities

What you guys think?

“Successful.”

Successful like Diablo Immortal, or…?

I’ve seen a lot of the AI trailers of what WoW 2 would look like, and fan made areas using the unreal engine and stuff like that as well, but I think what made WoW, WoW, was the early 2000s graphics. As much as I’d love to see it, idk what kind of computer I’d need to run something like the AI WoW videos I’ve seen on YouTube…

Yea I know but technology is evolving quite fast. The world would have to be HUUUUGE.

The only way the game survives is if Blizzard sells server licenses and mod tools for the big three (Vanilla/TBC/Wrath) and let the community host their own servers.

Community run games are always better than corporate slop, and the disparity between projects like Nost and whatever Blizzard pushes shows this.

Crazy realistic graphics isn’t Blizzard’s art style. In my opinion the graphic novel style used in the Lords of War series for Warlords of Draenor would be cool if they want to update graphics style but stay true to the Blizzard look.

Coolest thing would be to go back to an earlier time period, maybe even the First War and do updated raids and instances from that era. Only thing is you reduce the number of races to just 3 per faction and that might be the biggest reason it would flop with players - Forsaken and Night Elves are very popular.

Yeah people love this part of WoW so much that they spend $40 to boost their characters to max level instead.

That’s a great point.

I think ultra realistic trash is overrated.

They sacrifice gameplay for beautiful graphics. I do admire what nintendo team did with zelda on the switch.
