si i bought some books off eBay to get into the story of wow the books i have are

the shattering
twilight of the aspect
shadow of the horde
Arthas
Stormrage

i was wondering if these are free-standing books or if i have to read them in some type of order i tried to google it but couldn’t find anything

Those books are pretty much stand alone. As far as a timeline goes, as far as I can remember the order would be:

Shadow of the Horde
Arthas
The Shattering
Stormrage
Twilight of the Aspects
