You wanna guess how much they coughed up for the Warcraft movie? Pretty sure that budget is all used up.

Why would they risk a series when the movie was a flop, ya know.

Edit: We’ve been asking for warcraft anime since vanilla, we got a movie instead.

Oh Chelley bean my dear, I couldn’t agree more. If they had simply done that off the rip, pretty sure it would have worked much better than the “try and tell it all” attempt at a movie.

No, just no. Especially if they allow the CURRENT ART TEAM to touch it, would be an instant pass. I outgrew the Jimmy Neutron level of graphics when my kids hit middle school, thank God that phase is over. Only to have that same lame graphics style rammed right back down my throat in this game, the World of Warcraft. If they could keep a slight hint of QUALITY like the WARCRAFT movie from a few years back, maybe it would be worth a look, after it hit Netflix.

I enjoyed it, though I can see how someone who knows nothing about Warcraft would find it difficult to follow (and some of us who know too much about Warcraft probably hated it for entirely different reasons).

It always would have worked better as an animated series, which is why this news of Diablo and Overwatch getting runs surprises me. I guess neither of those universes ever really interested me enough to think they warrant a series.

The current art team is one of the few things pretty much universally liked about BfA and Blizzard’s development team as a whole Guess there’s always one outlier.

They tried that once it didn’t go very well. I think we should wait and see how the Diablo and Overwatch animes turnout first.

The movie wasn’t bad, but it tried to put two, or even three, movies worth into a single release, and it was just too rushed to connect properly.

Diablo will probably feel like Castlevania. Overwatch has a lot more wiggle room to be a “Justice League” type series.
