Warcraft 4

What time period is it going to take place in?

1963 is my guess

With the next generation of NPCs taking the helm I would not play WC4 if it came out.

Directly after WC3. We find out that WoW was a pipe dream.

If they totally retconned WoW and did a direct sequel to the true Warcraft plot I would be in.

well by definition they’d be pcs if they were playable in wc4.

Whatever :joy: the current line up of “Characters” are terrible and I hate most of them.

I can see Faerin from here … Close the app

Doesn’t too shabby

WoW, in essence, -is- Warcraft 4.

MMOs by their nature don’t end.

And this is a continuation of the Warcraft story.

0 ADP.

Medive opens the Dark Portal and nothing comes through because Garrosh redirected it to present day MU Azeroth instead.

The plot is now about the Bronze Dragonflight scrambling to make a threat large enough to force the Alliance together so it isn’t absolutely destroyed when any of the real threats show up.

Horde is still playable, but Amani trolls are the main race instead of Orcs.

I was thinking they could do a prequel game. Before the Kingdoms were developed. Maybe before civilization was developed. Trying to figure out who they even are. Small tribes are considered outsiders and enemies etc.

I’m down for Warcraft 4, but it won’t ever happen. Microsoft would hire 100 more WoW devs before making WC4.

You’ll never see WC4 as long as WoW exists, and if WoW ever closes, the IP will likely go on a long hiatus while they figure out what went wrong. Add on top of that that RTS don’t really sell well anymore and I can guarantee you’ll never see a WC4.

Never time period since Blizzard fired Team 1 years ago.

They weren’t fired. they left to form their own studio.

Crazy how all the amazing and perfect old school devs that left to make their own studio havent done anything with it.

One word (name) is all it takes…
