Warbound Equipment Bug

Bit of a weird one, but equipping a warbound item, like boots, isn’t changing the tag to soulbound like it should. I’m unable to transmog, but also when trying to put the item into my warband bank, I get the error, “You can’t place soulbound items in the warbank.” When I do equip them, it always says, “Equipping this item will bind it to you,” but it only does half way.

I mean, this late in the game, I’m not worried about an alt that can’t use better boots AND have them transmogged, but for future content, this will become an issue.

I just discovered this same issue as well. I equipped a warbound item and it won’t let me transmog it. I tried putting in my bank and it did give me the popup about the item becoming soulbound but it is staying as warbound until equipped.

Per Blizzard CS on Bluesky, logging out of the game and logging back in allows for you to transmog warbound items right now as a workaround.

THANK YOU. This did fix the problem.

So glad I found this thread, been having the same issue and I thought the only way to fix it was to restart the game. Glad to know a simple logout/login will fix it. Wonder how long it will take Blizz to fix this.
