Why is this locked behind 5 months worth of Delves?

I don’t get it. This would be such a great way to get alts geared up, but you can’t use it. I have no use for these weird Delve Coins other than these items, and I can’t buy them because it’s the second to last thing in the “Season Journey” for delves?

You were so close to greatness here. Why?

Just why did you have to go and time gate it to be completely irrelevant? I do at least 4 delves every day and I am only 3 Checkmarks into the 10 of this system. I just don’t get it man. Why is it like this.

By the time I actually unlock this I will have quit the expansion or have all my alts geared to where it’s useless anyway.

I figure it’s like high renown gear unlocks. By the time you unlock them they are basically useless. Typical Blizz stuff.

The renown enchanted crest is heroic.
By the time you unlock it, it is useless.

It’s clearly for raising an alt or two late in the season and fast tracking them into decently competitive gear.

Tier 8 delves are pretty well balanced at around about the 571 ILVL that this warbound gear is. So it’s there to help your newly levelled character immediately start doing tier 8s.

Yea, they do this a lot for some reason. It would be one thing if it was a cool transmog skin, but it’s not even that it’s just fluff to fill up the ventor.

For mains doing content? Yeah
For alts, maybe not. Since you could level a character to 80, then end up with what, 5 enchanted runed crests within the hour?

Delver’s Journey is account bound. If you’re just doing it with 1 character, and not with any alts, it’ll take a lot longer to fill up that meter.

Yeah like why do they even bother putting this in the game when it has never in the last 13 years been useful…

You can finish the season journey in 1 month its about 90 bountiful delves. Can do it even faster if you play more than 1 character.

I have currently done 55 delves, almost all of which have been Bountiful T8 or higher, and am only on rank 3…

How do you get more?

“Almost all” of 55 is ~30? Or 1/3 of 90… yup math checks out.

By the time you get that renown the season is already ending.
We can’t grind renown like Dragonflight.

By the end of the season it should be gilded instead.

I’d say at least 45 of them were T8. I only did them on Not T8 in order to get them unlocked. Then I did 9/10/11

I have done 57 Delves in total, but that I assume includes both Zekvir difficulties

Eh, it’s for people who aren’t doing Heroic Raid and M+ to get a reasonable amount of those crests from other content. even Delve Vaults won’t make that useless to the demographic it’s aimed at. I know people nearing 20 Renown already if they focused more of their weekly rewards on one rep.

Yeah the grind for this is a bit obnoxious and the costs of the 580 gear is so high I’d never ever buy it for alts.
