If im exalted with a faction on this toon, can an alt buy things that require exalted rep from, say, TBC or Cata?

Last I heard most rep would be acct wide. They would add that feature slowly through TWW. but IDK

In time yes. But right now no… I’m currently doing Kalu’ak rep from Wrath to get the Mastercraft Kalu’ak Fishing Pole for all my alts for underwater breathing.

I feel like getting the Underlight Angler would be quicker.

But buying a stack of waterbreathing potions would be the quickest.

I have the Underlight Angler on all my alts already but it just turns you into a fish and if I remember correctly combat breaks that. I prefer just straight underwater breathing from Mastercraft Kalu’ak Fishing Pole. Which is fast to get right now with the 50% TW Wrath XP buff. I started yesterday on an alt that had 0 Kalu’ak rep in the few hours I sent doing story quests I ended up only 4500 from exalted.

As for water breathing potions I can make those I just prefer something that doesn’t have wear off.

Yes just put it in your fishing pole slot and and you’re good anywhere underwater with no timer.

You have this equipped in your fishing skill slot, not your weapon slot, and you get UW breathing?

Correct. I’m currently using it on 4 characters… makes the underwater Delv a breeze.

That does sound handy. I’ve got a stack of Noggenfogger to carry around but I got exalted with the walruses way back in Wrath, so I guess I need to go grab me a fishing pole lol

I may have to work on that. I only ever did that rep on one toon and they’ve been a shelved alt for years.

Will legacy reps be added across toons or will only the highest one take effect

You will only get credit for the highest rep any characters has they won’t be added together.
