With regards to transmogrification and the new Warbands, account-wide thing, does this mean that appearances and items we have aquired in Classic that are no longer obtainable (ie. Corrupted Ashbringer, Benediction ect.) Be usable in the retail version of WoW? I mean, it did say it was account wide and to me that means all chatacters in all versions of the game. Thoughts and opinions?
From my understanding, this change should only affect the Retail version of the game (i.e., The War Within).
The account-wide distinction will include any additional Retail licenses you have under your Battle Net account.
I sure as hell hope all the transmogs I collected over the years on all my toons become available to all of them now.
When I recovered my old old account from WOTLK days and merged it with the new account all the stuff I got on my warrior back in the day that my shaman could use became available.
Being that Classic is technically a different game β Disappointing as it is β donβt count towards transmog in Retail. Though any Character on your retail accounts on a single Battle.Net account does. For example, I have both my main DF account and a starter account. Well appearances/pets/mounts I collected on my main account transfer to my starter account and vise-versa.
