I’ve been trying to get a piece of gear for my demon hunter recently, and it dropped for one of my other characters, but I noticed it didn’t add it to my collection, it was a class specific piece of gear, does that not work with the new system D: or is this a bug? Thanks!
At the moment, class-specific items must be collected on the relevant class.
Blizzard said they will be making changes to the system at a later point in the expansion.
Thank you for clearing that up
I have this question, too! I was curious how warband tmogging works, exactly. Obviously if it says it on the item, but what if it doesn’t?
I really wanted to give my pally the blue overalls. Er, well so he could mog into it. I sent him some, but it doesn’t work? O,<?
Blue Overalls are a cloth item. Your Paladin will not be able to transmog to cloth as that is not their armor type.
They can learn the appearance for cloth wearing classes, however.
Ahh, I get ya. Ah, what a bummer. lol
I was so hoping to put some of my characters in Blue Overalls, bkz they’re fun. But that’s ok!
Yah I knew they couldn’t technically use them, but I have been misunderstanding this aspect of the Warband system. So, we can click on the items to make it usable for tmog for our other characters that can. Not that other characters would be able to use that tmog.
Thank youuu!
Thats great to hear and I hope it happens sooner than later. With that info I will ignore sets for now and focus on literally all the other appearances I do not have as well as achievements and mounts and…everything else.
Apparently it’s in the next big anniversary patch coming up
