So i have a LOT of characters (mostly Alliance) and i was wondering if anyone saw if there was a cap for this, the fire with 4 characters was nice but i have to bring like 50+ characters Alliance side to this thing. Need more information. Also would be nice if we could name our Warbands and then use that as a marker so that folks could fix their character names instead of all the alt letters in character names.
No limit, but only a few characters will show up in the camp animation.

What I’m thinking is, you select 4 characters you want for your warband. like you can have multiple.

I hope it’s more than that, i could definitely see some problems long term if this is the case as you will have folks funneling characters into a Warband for certain things while folks like myself which can be playing 8-10 characters at a time might have to constantly swap toons in and out.

How many characters will players be able to have in their warband?
Your entire account roster will be part of the warband. Not everyone will show up in the cool camp selection scene. Horde and Alliance included.

Whole account. But on selection screen only few will show up. Basically like pick up 4 that represent your war and but all characters on your account are available

From what I gather listening to Ion, there is no actual limit except for your total number of characters. So if you have 300 spread across all the servers, then your Warband will have those 300 alts in it.
The character selection screen is simply limited to your favorite 4 alts because it looks to be a balance of characters on screen at once without seeming to be crowded. And I belie you can choose which 4 you want displayed.
Warbands have all your chaacters in them, not just four.
The four displayed at the fire are simply for you to show off what they look like.

My understanding was that all your characters from across all servers are eligible to appear, but only four at a time will and you can choose them if you wish.

They said in an interview all of your toons, Horde or Alliance, will be in your warband. But only a few will be on the camp screen.

Yes. From what I remember Ion saying, you can select the four you want to show off.

I really hope that at some point in time we can have our alts as companion NPC’s, like the same character in every way, name, mog, gear, role etc… but it follows you around and performs that role for your main and soaks exp in the process.
It would be an amazing way to level your alts.

Wow…that would be very interesting. I imagine that would have to be turned off in WM/open world PvP, but the implications for open world play…interesting.
