Warband Reputation

Why do my characters not share reputation? Isn’t that supposed to be one of the main selling points for this feature? My main has some reputations Exalted, my alt shows Honored.

I’m too lazy to google and confirm, but I believe that only holds true for future reps, so TWW.
They have yet to apply it retroactively to previously acquired factions.

It appears DF reps were also affected and are account wide.
But if you’re wanting like WOTLK reps then yeah, I don’t think that’s part of it yet.

I was thinking the Remix reputations would be included. If I knew they wouldn’t I would of did some dailies on my other character.

They definitely communicated on multiple occasions that it would just be most DF reps and most/all TWW reps with 11.0, and that they’d work on retroactively making previous reps warband-wide in the future.

I don’t even SEE the Dragonflight reputations. The Reputation tab shows Glimmerogg and Winterpelt…but none of the others for DF.

Warband-Wide Reputation
Once The War Within launches, most new and many Dragonflight reputations will become Warband reputations.

When you have a Warband reputation, any progress you make on one character will be shared with all your characters. Rewards will also be unlocked for all characters, although the form this takes will vary per reward. Warband-wide rewards will be granted only once, while some rewards will remain character-specific and need to be collected on each character.

Once a reputation is converted to Warband-wide, reputation progress will display as the furthest that any character in your account has achieved. If you were at Renown 5 for Valdrakken Accord on one character and Renown 10 on another, your new Warband Valdrakken Accord Renown will be 10.

We opted for the furthest progress earned because, for many reputations, progress is not earned evenly. You can earn a lot of front-loaded reputation from doing campaigns and other one-shot quests. The thought behind this was that if we added all the reputations earned across all characters together, this would create an unfair advantage for players who play many alts over those who spend their time on one or just a few characters.

The few reputations we opted not to convert, including Winterpelt Furbolg and Glimmerogg Racer, were due to not fitting within the fantasy for those reputations. Winterpelt Furbolg has a language learning component that doesn’t make much sense to be shared across characters, and the Glimmerrogg Racer reputation feels more like a personal standing in the snail races than an actual reputation that should be shared. These are also minor reputations that wouldn’t be as impactful Warband-wide.

When it comes to future conversion of reputations, the current plan is to work backward into older expansions, converting many old reputations over time. As it’s a time-consuming effort, it will take a while to implement. Similar to reuptations within Dragonflight, there will also be a limited number that won’t be converted, usually this will be because it doesn’t make sense from a fantasy perspective or because it involves a character-specific choice. For example, Aldor and Scryer in the Burning Crusade and the Covenants in Shadowlands won’t be converted because they represent per-character choices

Ok, so where do I see these converted warband reps? I can’t find them anywhere.

I lost out on this with the DF reps. I had my main maxed on all and most within 1-200 of the paragon box. I figured Daddy Blizz would set us all to 0/7500 so I pushed last weekend to get as many boxes before the reset. Ended up with one at 5k and the rest near zero after getting 5 boxes. Imagine my surprise when I checked this morning and all my toons matched perfectly with them all as progressed as my main (all at 5300/7500 with Val). I “lost” 60 boxes because for once Daddy Blizz didn’t screw us over as expected.

Same I only see glimmerrogg rep nothing else I go to a vendor buy something it’ll show up till I log out of the game and back on and then gone again.

To the folks that only see a couple of reps on the rep tab – are all your addons disabled? I’m curious if an addon is interfering. I see all reps across my character has earned/interacted with, including all DF reps.

I just notice this as well. They really should share legacy reputation. As well, nobody wants to have to go back and grind.

warband goes though all your alts around the world no matter it is.

Do we have any updates on the previous expansion reps becoming warband reps yet? I don’t think I heard anything about it in the big announcement/ anniversary yesterday, but it could have been missed in the fine print. “some time” and “over time” are not very specific.

DF and TWW for the time being. Think of it from this perspective; it is already quite the amount of work to implement a new system like this, it is a ton more to go back through old content and link it in. It will take time but will eventually happen.
It is the same reason why lore and other things of such ilk are not completely caught up on the plans that was listed. It is a ton of work to do.
