When completing any task that rewards Faction Renown, the reputation first increases by “X” amount and is then subsequently decreased by a different amount “Y”.

Just wanted to note I just had this happen as well, completed a Field of Ferocity WQ and had my Warband’s Maruuk Centaur rep increased by 2326 and then decreased by 2026.
Same issue here. Happening in Remix and retail. Random which ones it affects but i got like 5000rep and had 4750 removed immediately after. I dont even want to hand in quests. Ive lost over 15000rep for one faction 
Same issue. Screenshot the issue while getting the factions visible again in that separate bug. “Your Warband’s reputation with Maruuk Centar increased by 2802.” “Your Warband’s reputation with Maruuk Centar decreased by 2302.”
I have the same thing. I am hoping it’ll at least make the known-bug list.

I mean as far as I can tell, every time it happens, it increases your reputation by a lot, then lowers it by an amount that makes it so the net gain is still what you were meant to get.
Example: Finish a quest, it is meant to reward 500 rep, but instead you gain 2000 rep, and then lose 1500 rep. You’re still gaining the correct amount it just looks weird.
It’s not intended though, there is meant to be a rep bonus but they borked it in the prepatch. Theres a blue post somewhere acknowledging it

Same issue with me, only it looks like I’m getting a net zero from mine for the affected reputation. Everything else nearby goes up, but Ironforge reputation decreases by exactly the same amount and I get none of it. I’m trying to build up Ironforge rep, so this sucks.
Same issue for me. Tillers rep increases the decreases by the same amount. Very frustrating.
