Im confused about what warbands is. There has been so much emphasis on this warbands, and i thought your warbands would share progress on the storyline but it doesnt seem that is the case for my alts.
Is warband simply for sending items to alts? thanks
and unlocking renown as a group also
and crafting is a lot easy to do now without withdrawing items from the warband bank
All you toons = Your warband.
Story is semi-shared across the warband. You can do the sojourner quests across multiple toons as well as Loremaster. I did the campaign on this toon, Isle of Dorn sojourner on my warrior, and then Ringing Deeps sojourner on my druid. Starting to work on Hallowfall sojourner now on my druid but may finish it on my next toon. I’m trying not to do any leveling quests on a max level toon.
Warbands include all characters on the account and share progress to a point. You can’t start a quest chain on one toon and finish it on another one without restarting on the second toon. But if you finish the campaign, you do see the same unlocks on later toons. For example, in Ringing Deeps, my shaman unlocked the kobolds in Gundargaz and now every toon I bring to Ringing Deeps sees the kobolds there immediately instead of having to progress the zone first.
Every character on your Bnet account (unless they are on a different Region)
You can complete the storyline on a single character, or multiple, there is a filter on your map that can show you/not show you warband quests. If you talk to a quest NPC and you have already completed that quest, it will tell you in the quest panel.
Your renown is shared across your entire Warband (TWW and DF).
Nope, but it is part of it.
