I lover the overall concept of warbands, but some things need to be addressed:
-
I can craft from my warband bank, but i cant request or fulfill crafting orders with materials from my warband bank.
-
“Deposit all warband items” does not deposit all warband items, not sure what rule it follows to determine what gets deposited, some reagents sometimes don’t get deposited, but is not consistent. Like the first time i went to deposit all my reagents from my bag to warband bank and it ignore all my meats and fish, but on a different character it worked fine. Sometimes even items tagged as Warband on the tooltip still dont get deposited.(This seems to have been fixed, or at least i havent run into it again) -
Warband bank is kind of laggy(This seems to have been fixed) -
There are too many soulbound items that should be warband items, like old bop reagents, recipes, profession tools, profession treatise, unlearned pets, etc
-
Can’t buy from vendors that require materials as currency if the materials are not on the character (this predates warband, but i consider it related)
-
Unique items in the warband bank are counted, so if you had an unique item on 5 different characters only one of them can put it in the warband bank.
-
Character screen is too chaotic, need grouping, sorting, and filtering options
-
Loading screens when switching characters are too slow, in part because of addons but even without them. Would be nice if we could hot swap characters, maybe a config setting to allow preloading as much as possible.
-
All reputations should be account wide, the whole “some reputations are integral to the individual character progression” make zero sense to me. Make them all account wide. in the case of things competing rep like scryer and aldor, make it so only one can be active at a time, but if i have maxed out both rep on diff alts, when i switch to or choose one for the first time, it should recognize that i’m already max on it. I dont mind that not all rep are account wide right away due to time or tech limitations, i just dont like this philosophy that some of them cant be for [insert bs rp reason here]
Here are some spicy takes that i might be in the minority for:
-
Make processions more account wide. if I gain skill or learn a recipe in one Alchemist, give it to all my Alchemist, but have them share cooldowns and concentration to avoid exploitation. I know a lot of people like to play with alt armies to get extra cooldowns, i get it, i do it too, but i would rather not be incentivize to have an alt sweatshop. This also makes it so that if you are a one character only player you can swap professions if you want to try something new for an expansion or a season without worrying about losing your legacy recipe since they are learned account wide.

I want more warband bank space. I would sacrifice 50% of the regular bank space on all of my characters for a 50% increase on the shared warband bank. It is a net loss of space, but i would find it more convenient.
