Wish they would acknowledge if this is a bug or not.

The inferred behavior based on Blizzard statement is that Warband achievement points would be used in guild.

In the past, we have displayed your account-wide achievement point total in some places (like at the top of your achievement pane) but only your character total in others (like in guilds).

With the introduction of Warbands, we want all achievements to be considered ā€œWarbandā€ achievements. You, the player, accomplished them, so you should not feel like you need to complete them on more than one character or feel like you do not want to play another character because they are missing achievements.

Given this, we are eliminating the concept of a character-based achievement score. From now on, a total Warband achievement score will be tracked and displayed instead. This score will be the sum of all account-wide achievement points plus the points from any character-specific achievements completed on any character.

Since the release of the pre patch I have been eagerly awaiting it. We entered the third week in a row and they havenā€™t fixed it or commented about it.

I donā€™t think achievements earned are adding to the count either. Iā€™ve been stuck at 26035 in the guild roster and gained loads of achivs in the last couple of days.

One more week and countingā€¦

Feel like unfortunately there are just too many issues with the prepatch for this to even be on anyoneā€™s radar. Sucks as I was really looking forward to changing mains finally without feeling like I was leaving behind years of progress.

Same here.

This is still an issue. I continue to ā€œfeel like [I] do not want to play another character because they are missing achievementsā€.

But worse! I canā€™t even see what achievements my character has any longer. So I canā€™t figure out what I need to work on with my characters.

Warband has introduced way more UX problems than it has solved.

And Blizzard do not even talk about that. Its so frustrating.

This is still an issue.

Boop. Still an issue today.

Still an issue, also I second the observation that points arenā€™t even going up on a specific character in the roster. Iā€™ve gotten probably 200+ points in achievements in the last few weeks and Iā€™m still at 2015 in the roster for my DK.

Bump still an issue. Iā€™d like to see this acknowledged as well.

Where I come down on this is that itā€™s fine if they want to keep it character specific, but if they need to do that they need to enable the option to filter a characterā€™s own achievements.

I am currently leveling up an Earthen, and thereā€™s no way to double check if Iā€™ve fully explored a given zone because when I look up the achievement it just says it was completed by my warband.

That being said - I ā€˜thinkā€™ this is a bug, and they want to make the points warband wideā€¦ either way this limbo situation is a real problem.

Still not working as promised. It cannot be intentional because achievements completed that are listed as ā€œCompleted by your warbandā€ canā€™t be redone by an alt (i.e. Loremaster quests) so new mains will always have like, 2000 achievement points when in realityā€¦ the main probably has 20k+.

This will deter people from playing alts in the self proclaimed ā€œalt friendliestā€ expansion.
