Is there a list / categories somewhere of which achievements are going to be in scope of shared experience / for the warband? How do I know what I should and should not be pursuing at this point? Will all raid achievements be in scope?
Also:
Warbands seem to be limited to a few characters? What if you’re one of the nutty ones that has a 70 of each char/race for each faction? Are warbands “configurable” in scope? (Suppose I want all chars in scope with the exception of 1-2?)
Is it correct only a bag or so of gear / reagents will be available to the warband? This will end up causing a huge amount of inventory tetris across chars…
Is there any way to exempt or exclude chars you don’t want to be within the achievement sharing?
Put another way, is the warband created at a point in time (TWW pre-patch), or is any char you ever create in the future now already have all your prior achieves?

Every single toon on your entire battle net account is in your warband. So that’s potentially 8 WoW accounts worth of characters. That’s across all servers as well.
Don’t know of one… I don’t expect achievements to change much though. They are basically account wide already. They have been for a long time now. Earn it once and it shows as completed on all characters.
The meta achievements listed with a blue background (may be red on horde characters) within the interface can be earned across characters. But each step within is earned by a specific character.
This isn’t the case for some complicated raid achievements granting titles/mounts etc, which is why I am thinking I will just wait to finish some to ensure they were sharable.
Thinking here of Legion class artifacts skins and so on. E.g., is unique to the char:

Which ones? For instance I did “Balance of Power” on this character and all my characters have access to the artifact skins now. Wasn’t that way for a long time but they changed it in Shadowlands.
As a quest chain, you will have to do it on one character.

I have a priest that I have not completed “Unleashed Monstrosities” on. I only did that achievement on this druid. That priest has access to the appearance provided by the Unleashed Monstrosities.
I think that we’ll need to see some of it in action to get it. Like shared rep, does friendly on two characters equal honored overall? Often the run to exalted, the final stages won’t let you kill all the bunnies anymore for points.
And I think that we’ll pick up the nuance pretty quick, when I was leveling in Remix, I hit a level (maybe thirty) and my chat box lit up with a bunch of titles that I’d earned before but could now use.
And, not mentioned in this thread yet but another aspect of warbands is some gear will be flagged as warband and act like a “bind when equipped” that you can sent to an alt but otherwise can’t do anything (like sell it).
