Sorry for the noob question, but I have never played a season on the day it released. Is there a specific time on march 4th (est or cst) that the content will be live and playable? I don’t want to organize the time to play, just to be met with server maintenance.
Be up right after the Tuesday patch for it.
The new patch comes out tomorrow (25 February), and will be playable after Tuesday server maintenance. When a content patch comes out, maintenance typically takes several hours. You can never be certain when maintenance will be completed, as they sometimes run into problems that cause them to need to extend the maintenance. Or it might go smoother than expected, and they can reopen the game sooner.
The new season starts a week later (4 March), again it should be available after maintenance. The maintenance this time will likely be faster (Due to the content and systems already being installed), but cannot be guaranteed, as you never know what issues might pop up.

So the content such as new delves and raids are available tomorrow? Or March 4th. From my flawed understanding, the ilvl and tier sets increase and drop on the 4th, but are the new delves and raids available on the 25th? I appreciate your response a lot!
I believe the season starts on the 4th so the delves and raid and dungeons will be then. Tomorrow is new zone and it’s features to explore before we get the rest of it.
So even though new content tomorrow, still technically season 1 instances.
