Really bad looking. Paladins seem to get the better end of the deal at the beginning which is fine because they got shafted during Dragonflight with only one good looking set.
Big obnoxious cosmetic pieces do not make armor look good.
Highly recommend looking at Dark Souls and Elden Ring gear sets. You can have sets of armor/clothing that look good without making everything look like Legos.
I think the older I get the more I hate the gear in this game. Everything looks so dang cartoonish lol.

I would have liked the DF S3 Pally set if the textures were better. They look like they are made out of a kids toy. Kinda the same issue with the DK set but at least it looked cooler outright to make up for the textures.
TWW S1 gear is not bad. I don’t like all the choices they made like the candles on the DK set and some of the helms for other classes but most sets look good and the Evoker set is S tier for WoW. Too bad you don’t get to use the Evoker set as a Dracthyr lmao.
Since the dawn of this game, some stuff looks good, some stuff looks bad, and there will always be someone that likes something you hate.

There are a few pieces here and there but the major dungeon/raid gear has been pretty meh for a long time, but with Transmog it’s whatever.
At least for monk. Nighthold had some really amazing looking sets.
Evoker has one of the coolest ones they’ll never get to see in Dracthyr form.
OP has not seen the Evoker tier set and it shows.
Ah yes. So much better when armor ‘realistically’ had unpainted car frames sitting on your shoulders.
Yeah they are a bit on the ugly side.
The paladin gear looks the worst IMO. Like a green leveling set from Cata.
Really like mage and warlock, but the rest doesn’t really interest me. I like hunter’s better before they added the glowing crap.
A number of TWW season 1 sets look great, including priest.
Yeah, Priest, Warlock and Rogue sets look amazing.
Mage set is almost perfect, but the shoulders look like they’re too large, at least on the human model.
Everyone else kinda got screwed, besides Evoker, which has a few very nice looking variants.
Yeah I feel the same, there are a few wins… I actually like the warrior/monk sets… the warlock one will look sick with the hands… otherwise not a fan of the color schemes they are working with
hard disagree.
I can’t care about new sets tbh, with Transmog I’ll never wear new gear, until they start making new sets that don’t make us looking like clowns in plate.
Evokers won’t get to see them either because nothing transmogs onto the dragons… just throwing that out there… 
Because trust me, I looked and thought “those are awesome!!”… then remembered they won’t show on my character.
