Whoever it will be, I am sure it will be just as lame as the last few expansions.
Iād like it if it were the foot lady.
I know we wonāt kill her.
Maybe thisāll be Blizzardās take on people saying āwe need to lose for onceā.
Iām sure she wonāt just slaughter us, of course, but I could see a āwe win the fight but fail to stop whatever she was doingā situation (and then she gets away ofc, since we already know sheās sticking around for longer than this expansion).
She wasnāt called āThe Harbingerā for no reason. Sheās definitely not someone weāre completely stopping. Thatād be a waste of a plotline. But that doesnāt mean we canāt touch her.
If itās not her, itās ethereal related. But that feels more Midnighty at this stage. Not saying we wonāt fight that dude that keeps popping up as a boss (the one that now has the Dark Heart), but I think the lionās share of that will come later and I donāt see him being the final boss. I feel like it needs to be Xal for TWW to stand on its own feet a bit better. Especially with Goblins wasting the middle portion of the plot on absolutely nothing that will matter going forward. Gotta go back to whatās already started for the Part 1 Finale IMO.
I honestly think this is the case. For Midnight, we were told the Void is coming for the Sunwell.
I think if she is the last boss we ādefeatā her, but not before she completes her plan and brings the void to Azeroth in a larger scale.
I mean, if past performance is any indicator of future results, this is spot on the mark.
Itās NOT going to be Xal, because we know sheās already a part of Midnight.
So, sheās going to be alive throughout the whole of TWW.
Probably some kind of Void Lord or Ethereal or something, that ushers us into Midnight, is my guess.
We got that sneak preview of their home planet, after the void ethereal stole the macguffin.
You say this like we havenāt fought bosses who survived or otherwise showed up again later before.
Probably Iridikron
āXalāatath will remain as an antagonist in both Midnight and The Last Titan, and will be confronted multiple times across the Worldsoul Saga.ā
Itās literally on the wikipedia, at the bottom.
If they pull an Arthas or an Illidan with her this quickly, right after we kill her, and she comes back next expansion?
Then whatās the point?
Sheās not gonna be āthe final bossā of TWW, period.
People who say sheās the gonna be the final boss honestly canāt read.
And judging by this thread, itās a frighteningly large amount of folks.

Nah, Iridikron wonāt be back until the Last Titan. His base of operations during the War of the Scaleborn, was a massive underground tunnel network in Northrend.
Weāre returning to Northrend in the Last Titan, I expect his zone to be the 13.1 patch at the latest.
Yes, multiple times throughout the Saga. Implying we may fight her in the War Within.
Can you? You just shared that sheād be fought multiple times.
taps title of the thread
āFinal bossā
Thatās neither.
I can read just fine.
She can still be the final boss and we donāt kill her.
This has happened before with Garrosh and Kilājaeden.
I said what I said with Arthas/Illidan lol.
I highly doubt Blizzard is gonna ābring backā villains we already killed, largely because of how old and predictable thatās gotten.
Also itās like, whatās the point of killing them?
Itās like that raid tier doesnāt matter because itās all undone anyways.
Siege of Orgrimmar is basically pointless considering Garrosh escaped afterwards. Who did we stop? Loyalists?
TBC Black Temple, pointless too. āIllidan was just helpingā lol.
Okay, not suggesting they would bring back anyone for the final boss of TWW.
But based on this:
She will be used for multiple encounters. We wonāt be killing her off for awhile.
So which is it. Do you believe Blizzard when they said weād fight her multiple times, or do you think she wonāt be used for more than 1 encounter in the Saga?
Xal being the last boss of TWW and surviving makes sense for the narrative.
Also, Illidan is coming back again in 13.0, Metzen has already confirmed it.
Sheās probably gonna be āaā boss of The Last Titan, but likely not the final boss.
Sheās gonna be taunting us and whatnot like she already has been.
More of her plans get foiled by us, she gets mad and finally attacks us, and we stomp her down.
But sheās a void being so she probably works for a bigger fish, my assumption anyway.
Iridikron similarly will probably be a boss, but I doubt heād be an endboss, just because thereās bigger, more dangerous stuff than him.
Like, he (Iridikron) hates the titans, and is probably working to corrupt Azeroth into a void titan or something.
A Void Titan is a large enough threat, that Iād expect that to be a final boss or something of this entire saga. That, or Void Lords.
TLDR - Xal is just a lackey to something larger. Sheās no Thanos or anything. Same with Iridikron.
Weāre not talking about the final boss of the Last Titan. Weāre talking about the final boss of the War Within.
She most definitely is not the final boss of the Last Titan.
Yeah, heās either the penultimate boss in 13.0 or 13.1 if he isnāt the final boss of 13.1.
Thatās just my answer to this:
So which is it. Do you believe Blizzard when they said weād fight her multiple times, or do you think she wonāt be used for more than 1 encounter in the Saga?
Never said she was any endboss, just that weāll be fighting her at some point in future expansions, likely the last one.
TWWās last boss, Iām already assuming itās gonna be some Void thing or Ethereals, based on the post-Undermine cinematic.
They showed us Kāaresh, at least Iām assuming thatās what was shown.

Yes, wee may fight her once per expansion. I doubt the Elven form sheās currently in control of will survive the first encounter.

Hard to say where theyāre going for 11.2 tbh. Kāaresh could be just part of the final raid, maybe the back half.
Would be weird to take us off planet for a patch in an expansion focused on exploring the depths of the planet. I think weāre going to the Rootlands, home of the Harronir. Their culture and homeland have been brought up a few times throughout the story, would be weird not to explore it at all.
Kāaresh seems like a likely candidate for Midnight content, tho. Just donāt know to what degree.
Can it be late summer already so we can have the Midnight content reveal?
Yeah, Rootlands might be first, really donāt know because both have pretty much been teased at this point.
Kāaresh might be part of Midnight, who knows.
